The smell of cooking food greeted Scion as he entered. He walked into the kitchen and saw Sara setting the table.

“Hi sweetie,” Scion said.

Sara smiled and moved toward him.

“Hi. I’m glad you’re home.”

Scion accepted Sara’s kiss and enjoyed the soft press of her lips.

“Smells delicious,” he said. Scion moved to the cabinet. “Wine?” he asked.

“Sure,” Sara said.

Scion thought she looked cute wearing a festive apron. Sara had dressed up in a provocative dress and styled her hair.

Scion took down two wine glasses and uncorked the bottle.

“How was your day today?” Scion asked.

Sara brushed a lock of brunette hair over her shoulder. She slipped a mitt on and opened the oven.

“It was good. I got us groceries. Made dinner and had a chance to look through that wedding magazine finally.”

Scion took the glasses to the table, “Any dresses stand out to you?”

Sara stood on the other side of the kitchen island. “Well, there were a few I thought I would look really nice in.”

Scion walked over, grabbed two plates, and set them by the casserole dish. He then came behind Sara and wrapped his arms around her.

“In my opinion any dress would look great on you.”

Scion tenderly kissed her cheek.

Sara turned her head.

Her lips found his mouth.

Lightly their tongues played.

The outside world disappeared by the home they had built. With closed eyes they enjoyed the sensation of mutual love.

The kiss ended and Sara wiped away the wetness from her lower lip.

untitled-design-1

Bridget Chase, born December 7th 1981, is an America Author, Screenwriter, Artist, and Creator of the newest book genre Himbi Fiction, best known for ‘Wax Museum in Space’ and her other himbi fiction books. Bridget’s books have gained world wide attention, won multiple awards and sold over 5 million copies. They are targeted to be the best selling collection of books by a single author and are set to become feature films.

Born in Houston, Tx, Bridget was working as a visual artist when she conceived the idea for her first story. In the three year period that followed she saw the death of a best friend, loss of relationships, gave up her dog, and saw the lowest points of poverty and homelessness until her eighteenth book release ‘The Devil’s Donut’ in 2016.There have been many more titles since as well as coming sequels to beloved stories.

Bridget has lived a ‘rags to riches’ life story, in which she has progressed from being homeless living in her car, to a multi-millionaire status within three years. She is rising to be America’s best-selling living author, with sales exceeding $4.5 million. The 2016 Sunday Times Rich List estimated Bridget’s fortunes at $5.5 million ranking her as the 97th richest living author. Time Magazine named her as runner up for its 2016 person of the year, noting her effect upon the playing field of fiction. Bridget is on coarse to be named ‘Most influential Author in America’ by leading magazine editors. She has supported charities including Comic Relief, One Parent Families, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain and Lumos (formerly the Children’s High Level Group)

Q&A with Bridget Chase

by: Caleb Fox

1. How did you become such a successful author?

Hmm, hard question. I think it was the hunger and my drive. I had never been happy with any  job I had. I loved making art and writing and left a lucrative job position to pursue it full time. I think my success came from the low times in my life. The points when everything is against you and you want to give up. These are the moment that separate the successful from not. I am hugely stubborn and accept nothing less than success. I started penniless and homeless, and built my name from the ground up with no money. It was extremely tough and I paid the price in countless ways. i paid my dues and suffered the trials of perusing dreams. It has taken a lot of work and many, many disappointments, but here I am doing what I love and making a great living now.

2. You say things were so hard for long periods when you first began. Can you tell us about the day that changed and success began to find you?

Sure. It took three years of hardship, if you just count my time as an artist and writing. I hit the lowest point in my life ever. Like I said penniless, homeless, I lost my dog, relationships, everything. I keep a notebook and after a terrible day of cursing God, the universe, and everything, I had enough.. I said this moment thing will change. I demanded it. Wasn’t going to accept how things were anymore. I did away with excuses and changed my mind set to success. I wrote in my notebook the date and that this was the day everything changed. I had said this before , but this day it was different. It was like I knew. That is when it all changed.

3. So, many still want to know what is Himbi Fiction?

Well, the idea is evolving but basically Himbi Fiction is fiction candy. Like caramel goodness spread over chocolate that ignites every taste bud as the confection dissolves over your eager tongue. It is total and complete play. It blends genres, is short, with bent story lines and basically lives in the moment. For example if I am writing and the scene is growing monotonous then I alter the story to make that moment more exciting. Like a Nacho Cheese Dorito, it is eaten for the pleasure. You don’t eat Doritos for the health benefits or to achieve anything else than the pleasure and gratification of the moment. That, is Himbi Fiction.

4. And why did create this new genre?

I went through a period of terrible struggle as a writer and author. I don’t want to trivialize the hardship that spanned many years by stating it in a few sentences. Needless to say, when you start a business, no matter author, or another kind of product, the starting years are very, very hard. You will face many setbacks and times of tremendous emotional anguish. So, deciding to write Himbi came from that. All I had during this time of hardship was writing. I had no other entertainment. So I had to find every last ounce of joy and pleasure that I could squeeze from writing. And this is where Himbi came in. I wrote for the moment. For the sheer pleasure of writing. No long drawn out stories that bevel themselves to be life changing. Just delicious fiction candy to be consumed for pleasure.

5. Now that you are becoming so well know for your books what are your current plans for the future?

First off I want to write more books. Like hundreds. I think they are so fun and the stories are ridiculously entertaining. Also, more YouTube videos. I would love to extend Chase Entertainment into a film company and write scripts for live action movies to put on YouTube.

As far as on a personal level, I am looking at buying a new home. I have lived in apartments my whole adult life and am going to get a home for myself and my dog. Oh, yeah I got my dog back. That was the happiest day EVER! It tore me up when I had to let her go. It was devastating. Luckily a great friend took care of her while I fought out my career. I’m so glad to have her and soon will have a backyard for her and am going tot get her a new puppy friend as well.

6. Any advice for new or aspiring writers?

Yes, but the first is cliche. Be yourself. Write like yourself. Find your voice and then put it out there and try to find your readers. It isn’t easy and if you really love it and want it, you can achieve it. For a long time I hated Steve Harvey. There was even a point that I said to myself, if things get worse I will spend the rest of my life hunting him down. Of course I didn’t. Things got better but there is that video of him talking about pursuing your dreams. He said you have to jump and that you’ll hit all the rocks on the way down before your parachute opens. Well I got more beat up than I think he credited. But my chute did open and if you jump like Steve Harvey says, then you can get there. Just don’t give up and don’t listen to the nay sayer’s. Keep strong. Keep fighting ,and take what you want form life.
