Gnats & Destroying the Evidence
It’s time for the big news that I’ve been hinting at! But first, just to delay it a tad longer, I’ll give you another update…
My micro-fiction short story “Destroying the Evidence” is going to be featured in the Penny Fiction section of the 18th annual literary journal From the Depths, published by the Haunted Waters Press! In addition to this, “Destroying the Evidence” will be included in the Penny Fiction Poster Collection. The proposed release date for this volume is autumn of this year!
And now for the big announcement….
My novella Gnats has been picked up by the DLG Publishing Partners!
This fantasy story is intended to be the first of a series of novellas and short stories, following the main character, Eva, as she discovers a magical world filled with mythological monsters, wizards, and nymphs.
Here’s a brief summary for you:
In the immediate hours after her divorce, Eva drove to the site of her childhood home to find her old safe place. Emotionally wrecked, she was unprepared to stumble into a world of magic that had always existed parallel to her own. Now, with the companionship of a dryad, she must fight monsters that she always believed to be myth, as well as a crazed wizard bent on exploiting the energies of Allodasos, the magical realm of the fae.
Gnats is tentatively slated for a release date of 8 July 2020. Because of its length, it is going to be distributed as an e-book. In the future, as I write more installments for the series (the second novella’s alpha draft has already been completed), there is a greater chance that they will be printed as an omnibus. Stay tuned for more information in the weeks to come, including cover art!

A Matter of Time
Hi everybody!
This isn’t the exciting news that I hinted would be coming
soon in the previous post, but nevertheless, here’s some different exciting news!
I have a short story titled “A Matter of Time” that is going to be included in Haunted MTL’s first anthology 101 Proof Horror!
This electronic publication does not yet have a firm release date, but it should be available later this year, rest assured I’ll let you know more details as soon as I do!
Until then, here’s a summary of “A Matter of Time.”
Mr. Merson, a retired horologist, discovers an old desk clock next to a dumpster of a mansion being renovated, and judiciously repairs the antique into the early hours of morning. Just as the clock begins to tick once again, he finds himself face to face with his long-deceased wife…

Website Launch
As the text on the top of the homepage states, welcome to my website! While it’s actually been active since some point in December 2019, I’ve finally got to the point where I feel like I can remove the ominous “PLEASE PARDON OUR APPEARANCE, THIS WEBSITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION” banner!
But, so it’s known, there are some additional features coming in the near future, most significantly the ability to sign up for a mailing list. I promise that this free subscription won’t bombard your email with spam nor will you be added to yet another robocall list – by signing up you’ll get infrequent updates to various products as as well as an occasional flash or micro-fiction for your entertainment. By infrequent I mean, at the most, twice a month. If I don’t have anything to say that I think is worth your time or inbox space, you won’t be getting anything. Cross my heart, swear to die.
So, once again, welcome to my website and thanks for your support. And stay tunes, because I will have some exciting news for you in the next several weeks!

Preparing Sacrificial Offerings…
The first post of this website, I am still getting everything put together. If you are reading this close to it’s release date… how? No really, I’m befuddled: how? I doubt even I could stumble onto this page so quickly and I’m building it! So stay tuned, more is coming: short stories, original artwork, and links to published works nonfiction and fiction (well, I hope.) Knowing how the gods of technology like me, however, be prepared for some blips; I still haven’t found the preferred sacrifices to appease them.
Trial and error. It’s always trial and error.
So thanks for stopping by in the construction stage of this website, you strange individual, you. Come back when it looks more real, I’ll be here!
Well, I won’t. I don’t live on this site. You get it though. You have a brain.
