I completely understand why it was your last case.

I completely understand why it was your last case. Regardless if it was a legitimate miscommunication or not (seems unlikely) it is best to be with a therapist that you trust and feel safe around!

Thank you for sharing your experiences, I have had a couple of other people share similar experiences unfortunately :(

The Problem With Therapy

Seeing a therapist is a daunting prospect for many people.The concept of opening up with your inner demons to what amounts to a complete stranger can be terrifying.

True they are trained experts, but it often feels like their clinical knowledge couldn’t possible transcended the experiential gap.

How could they know what I am feeling? They didn’t live through what I did.’
