I like your suggestions, but I hold to the ‘try everything first’ — namely because it is an impossibility. JUST KEEP TRYING THINGS!

Evil is a relative term. You can’t easily pin it down as there are cultural and historical factors that determine what constitutes good and bad.

Similarly, I don’t agree that people always know what they are doing (from a moral sense). How many times have people been blind sided by the reality of their actions when they are exposed to the true nature of their impacts?
