Finally here!
That's right, Alex's book is
finally
here!! I'm squealing on the inside as my baby girl is napping and I'm sicker than a dog-yes pun intended (;
I have to admit, releasing a book on Christmas Eve may not have been one of my best decisions considering everyone was celebrating different holidays, myself included. I didn't know a 10-month-old could get so many presents... but back on track, the release went great! And is continuing to do amazingly. I'm always surprised when even one person who has no connection to me reads a book of mine. So, without further ado, we made it to 1056 in paranormal witches &wizards!!
A massive thank you to all my readers!! I promise I'll be trying my hardest to finish the whole Redwater series in the coming year! There are other characters in my mind who want their stories told, but I don't want to leave Redwater hanging in the wind. Isaiah is next up to get his happily ever after and boy, oh boy am I excited to get to his story.
I hope all of you had a happy holiday and didn't catch an awful stomach bug. If your like me, and did, then feel better soon and enjoy a good book.

Tonight
Tonight at the stroke of midnight, or sometime after midnight, The Bewitched Wolf will be live!! I'm so excited, but nervous at the same time. I've poured over this book, editing and rereading praying I've found all the mistakes. However, I'm still human and so is my mom, aunt, and great aunt. While they all say it sounds great, they are my family, what else are they going to say?
This book means a lot to me. It's the first one I'm putting out after a long break. I almost feel as if I'm publishing my first book all over again. Will the fans I still have love it or hate it? Will they think I've wasted their time by waiting this long to publish the next book? Either way, I'm probably worrying wayyy too much.
So, with all that useless rambling out of the way I want to say thank you for anyone who grabbed a copy of The Bear Necessities as we made it all the way to 254 in the short stories/single author category! I will update ya'll after Christmas as to where we ranked for The Bewitched Wolf release. If you want to grab a paperback copy, it is in review and should hopefully also be live sometime tomorrow. Don't forget to leave a review or rating on Alex's book, I always read them and use them to help me tweak future books.

Bear With Me & Another free book!
I know this update is a little late, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who grabbed a free copy of Bear With Me! We made it all the way to 74 in the free paranormal/shifter category!! I can't say thank you enough for all the support you readers have shown me!!
Now, for the free part!! Next week will kick off the final Redwater Shifters free giveaway before The Bewitched Wolf goes live. The Bear Necessities will be free Dec. 4-7. After that everyone should be caught up and ready to fall in love with Alex and his mate!! For the first time...
For the first time since Bear With Me was published, it will be free! It will be free starting tomorrow until this Friday, Nov. 16th. Bear With Me first went live over a year ago, it's had a few sales, but I'm excited to do a free giveaway!! The other two books blew my expectations out of the water so now; I'm ready for this giveaway to get started. Watch, this will be the one I think will do amazing and it'll end up only give away two copies or something like that...

Second Best
I wanted to say a huge thank you to anyone who grabbed a copy of Beauty and the Bear while it was free. This past week we made it all the way to 123 in the free paranormal werewolf and shifter romance!! The Freebie ended with 98 copies given away, which is more than Bearly There. Maybe I just have low expectations for myself, but I'm always amazed at the number of readers who get my books. I never thought in a million years that anybody except family and friends would read them.
So thank you for reading, even if you ended up hating any or all of my books. Not everyone will like them and while it hurts seeing a bad review, I take those and try to write better. Edit more, triple spell check, flesh out the plot more thoroughly. Anyway, what I'm trying to get at is thank you for taking a chance on me and my crazy shifter characters.

Another week, another free book!
This week kicks off the free giveaway of Beauty and the Bear. Starting tomorrow thru Friday, you can grab the second Redwater book for free. Just this week I picked up Alex's book again and tweaked a few of the scenes. I'm so excited for ya'll to read it! Ugh, I can hardly wait for Dec. 24th to get here.
I've also started throwing around some ideas for Isaiah's book, which is the next one up. They're all rough, but I think they'll come together nicely in the end. Anyway, since I've been so productive lately, I'm going to snuggle up on the couch and read while watching Hocus Pocus.

Updates upon updates
First, I liked to say a big thank you to anyone who downloaded Barely There! The book made it all the way to 197 in free paranormal, werewolf romance category. Since this wasn't the first or heck, even second, time Barely There had a free giveaway I wasn't expecting the response it received. So thank you again. After the third, I have seen a boost in sales and pages read, which is amazing because I've been absent for over a year and it showed.
Second, I knew I had said Bearly There would be coming out of Kindle Select and therefore KU. However, after looking over and thoroughly google searching the internet. I definitely fell down the rabbit hole for a few days as the deadline to stay or go approached. I realized that taking Bearly There out would still get me into hot water because of the bundle pack. With Redwater Volume One staying in Kindle Select it meant any material inside it couldn't be sold on another retailer.
Meaning I would've had to take the bundle pack out of Select as well. Even then though, I wouldn't have been able to put Volume One on any other sites, because Books 2-3.5 would've still been enrolled. I would've been stuck sitting with Volume one out of Select but unable to go anywhere else. While it sucks because I would've liked to try Bearly There out on other sites, most of my readers come from KU. Even I have KU and read all of my books with it.
I just couldn't see letting the bundle sit there, not in KU, but not anywhere else either. Not to mention, any new readers to the series could use it to catch up and save some money. Anyway, I think that a future series or standalone will test the waters of self-publishing on all platforms later.
Lastly, I am awful at keeping up with my author Twitter. For a millennial, social media is not my thing. However, my marketer (also known as my mother) is trying to talk me into having an author facebook page. Is that something you'd like? Or would it be a no-go for you guys?

Starting this week!
To gear up for The Bewitched Wolf, I've decided to do some free promotions! This week will kick off tomorrow starting with Bearly There. It'll be free until this Friday, the fifth. Every two weeks another book in the Redwater Series will be free for three days! If you haven't read them all, this will get you caught up in time for Alex's book.
The Beauty and the Bear (Book 2) will be free from Oct. 23-26.
Bear With Me (Book 3): Nov. 13-16.

It's Live!
The Bewitched Wolf is officially live and available for preorder. I also wanted to let everyone know Bearly There (the first book of Redwater) is coming out of KU. This October marks two years since I published that first book. For now, I want to do a trial period with Bearly There and give readers on other platforms a chance to read it. It's not permeant; I'm open to bringing it back to KU in the future. Bearly There will stay at .99 cents on Amazon!
This Holiday Season...
While I've been away from the writing world for almost a year,
a lot
has happened. I'm a first-time mom to a beautiful baby girl. I love her more than words could ever describe, and she takes up most, okay all, of my time. Which is just fine by me. During nap time, however, I somehow managed to finish Alex's book!
No, you're not reading it wrong. The Bewitched Wolf is finally ready for pre-order!! This story holds a special place in my heart. I did tons of research for my witchy characters to make them more human. Of course, this is fiction, so some things were bent here and there to fit the storyline. It's the longest story I've written to date, and between us, it's my favorite.
I know, I know. You're probably thinking, B, didn't you say the same thing about Carter and Grace? And yes, I'm pretty sure I did. I just fall in love with every couple I envision, each one had their own unique quirks (and kinks (; ). Maybe more of me hold this one closely because I worked on it for so long.
From the first planning stages to when it's edited and published will be over a year. I strayed from my book outline, a huge no-no for me. But the story took on a direction all it's own, and a particular character took of in a direction I wasn't expecting. Or maybe it was just getting to revisit all the other couples in Redwater. Past, present, and future.
And no, I'm not giving any spoilers away-you have to read for that. I love some good foreshadowing, or ya know, dropping a bunch of hints. Either one works for me. As of right now, I don't have the link for Alex's book. It's not actually live on Amazon yet, but I just couldn't wait to tell you guys!
When I do have it, however, I will be sure to post it. I'm so excited to share Alex's journey with you!! The release date will be, drumroll please, December 24th. Consider this my holiday gift to all of you who stuck around and continued to support me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
