Top 100 Free

Bearly There is number 82 on Amazon's free best sellers for paranormal romance/werewolves and shifters! SQUEALS!! I might be having a mini freak out. When I set up the free promo I really thought I wouldn't have more than maybe ten a day. For the whole three days. I've never done this before so I was probably under measuring myself but I didn't want to get my hopes up. Thank goodness I had the day off today because I've checked the darn thing every hour. Anyway, when I checked it this morning I already had fifteen free downloads. I thought, Wow, maybe I'm going to do better than I thought! Now I'm at 82 for werewolf/shifter romance and 2,783 for all free kindle ebooks. I don't think I've ever felt this proud of myself. I've always been hard on myself but whole freaking crap! Little ole me is on that coveted top 100 list! (Insert happy dance and more squealing here.) Just wanted to say Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would have never made it to that list without all of you readers, so thank you again!
Forever grateful,
b

Book Two?

My mom has been asking me daily, daily, about book number two. She helped me with book one. Editing, bouncing ideas off of her, the whole nine yards. So now I'm staring at my empty idea board, a cork board with pink push pins, and thinking I don't remember this being so hard. Granted I had thought about Bearly There for so long by the time I finally found the guts to write it, it flew by. I could have told you what was going to happen in every chapter before I even typed out Chapter One. Book two, however? Mission Control we have a problem. It's not that I don't have an idea. Oh, do I have an idea. The problem is I don't know where I want the story to go. Obviously an HEA, but how they get there? No. Clue. What happen's with the bad guy or guys? No. Idea. Unfortunately my mama, wants to be surprised and now I can't use her as a sounding board. Maybe I'll listen to some music, close my eyes and something, anything, will come to me. Wish me luck!

Decisions, decisions

I've been thinking a lot about doing a paperback version of Bearly There. There's only one problem. Does anyone other than me still read paperbacks? I go to the library and it's deserted, like a barren wasteland. Although I live in the middle of nowhere so that's not really uncommon. Personally, I'd rather read a paper book. Maybe it's just me? Which form do you guys prefer?
Curiously wondering,

Gray but not dull Thursday

At work today I banged my shoulder into a door, dropped a bar on my knee, cutting my leg. Then on top of everything else I pinched my fingers in a swinging door! Ugh. At least when I came home there was a five star review on Amazon. Coolest. Thing. Ever. I can't believe I actually published a book. Sometimes I think it was crazy to put myself out there like that. But whenever I see someone has read Bearly There? It makes all the worrying, brainstorms, and cramped fingers worth it.

Today's the day

Bearly There went live this morning at 1:00AM, according to my email from Amazon. Unfortunately, I had to work today and just logged on to see if anyone had read it while I was gone! Holy crap readers have actually read it and liked it. I can't tell you how unbelievable that is to me. It's amazing to see other people enjoying something I spent at least a year planning and months writing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is amazing and I could say thank you a million more times to anybody who has read Bearly There.
B. (:
