Sue is the author of "Lethal Intent", a biography of executed serial killer Aileen Wuornos (new edition released Dec. 2013) and co-author, with artist Elizabeth Williams, of "The Illustrated Courtroom: 50 Years of Court Art."

Sue Russell liked an answer about My Dark Vanessa: Do you recommend this book for a 16 yr old girl? The girl read Room a few years ago and wasn't upset about the upsetting stuff and actually loved the book. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. The sex scenes are rather graphic. The girl read Room a few years ago and wasn't upset about the upsetting stuff and actually loved the book. I read it and am 16 years old. I don't regret reading it, but it was shocking and I would have liked to know beforehand about the very graphic rape scenes.
