Publication Schedule Update

I'm experiencing a slight delay due to life and books taking longer to write than I'd planned. When I say "delay," I'm talking a few weeks to a month, not years! What is coming down the pipeline is still coming down the pipeline--the pipeline just got blocked a little.
So we have:
Justin (Tales of the Shareem): Coming Feb 14. (Right now it's in edits). I will make a huge, blaring announcement when it's out!
Nightwalker (Stormwalker Book 4): Has now moved to mid or late March.
Everything else is pretty much on track ( Duke's Perfect Wife as Jennifer Ashley in April, more Shifters after that).
I'd rather take a few more weeks to make the books the best I can make them than have them dumped on you before they're ready. I'm also happy to have understanding editors! :-)
I plan at least one more Shareem after Justin (Judith's story and wrapping up some threads...though who knows?)
The Stormwalker series at this point is open-ended. I love the world, Janet, Mick, Colby, Coyote...
Thanks for your patience. It's all coming soon!!

News on All Series

Lots of news! I'm pleased to announce the release of WILD CAT (Shifters Unbound Book 3), on Tuesday January 3, by my alter-ego, Jennifer Ashley.
This book is out in both print and e-, available wherever you shop for books, as well as online at Books on Board, Amazon, B&N, Kobo, iTunes, Sony, etc.
When Diego Escobar assists in what should be a simple task of arresting a trespasser, he comes face-to-face with his first Shifter--the beautiful feline Shifter Cassidy Warden. Assigned to watch over her, Diego learns more about the lonely, wild Cassidy than it's safe to know. Diego might be human, but he's virile and darkly handsome, and stirs Cassidy's mating desire, which she thought dead forever. (Author's note: Diego is strong, bad-ass, and hot!!)

What's Happening with Other Series?
This year will see several releases in all my series. Look for:
Tales of the Shareem: Justin (Shareem #7), by Allyson James, sometime near the end of January
Nightwalker (Stormwalker #4) by Allyson James, in February
A Disappearance in Drury Lane (Captain Lacey Mysteries #8) by Ashley Gardner, in March
The Duke's Perfect Wife (Hart's story—Mackenzies #4) by Jennifer Ashley, in April
Another Shifters Unbound short novel (Spike's story), in May or June
In the rest of the year, look for another Stormwalker book, another Capt. Lacey mystery, and more tie-in short novels in the Shifters and the Mackenzie series, as well as more full-length Shifter and Mackenzie releases.
Plus, I might be starting a few new things—perhaps some contemporary romances. I'm doing a lot already this year, so I'll keep you posted on that!

Tales of the Shareem: Rees, Free for a limited time

I'm pleased to announce that my very first Allyson James book, REES (Tales of the Shareem #1) is now FREE! It will be free for a couple of weeks, so if you've ever wanted to try my hotter romances, grab it now.
It's available wherever ebooks are sold, including:
Amazon Kindle
B&N Nook
Or straight from Ellora's Cave in multiple formats
Rees was the book that started it all. Meet the Shareem, who come in three flavors, :-) and the women who love them.
Caution: This is hot romance at its hottest. Contains elements of BDSM (I call it "BDSM lite") and menage. Have oven mitts and water standing by.
In other news: I am also working on a new Stormwalker book, Nightwalker. I should have that cover to show soon, and I am hoping it will be published in the next couple of months. Stay tuned for more news on that.
Later this week, the short novel, Bodyguard, by me as Jennifer Ashley will release--a tale in the Shifters Unbound series. I'll post news on that as well.
Thanks, and enjoy!

High Time for Some Updates
Apologies for keeping this blog hanging--the Jennifer Ashley and Ashley Gardner side of my kind of stuck Allyson James in a closet and told her to stay there a while. But, Allyson is not sitting idly in the dark.
I am working on two books: Justin (next in the Tales of the Shareem), and Nightwalker (next in the Stormwalker series). I have pub dates on neither yet, but I'd say sometime in the next six months.
As soon as my immediate workload calms a little (ha!) I'm going to head up to the Navajo Nation for more research on the Stormwalker books. I hope to make it out to Chaco Canyon in New Mexico, and I hope the heat has lessened by trip time!
I recently flew over Janet's territory when I came back from RomCon in Denver. Always liking to check my research I gazed down at the desert plateau, and said, "Yep, that's just how I described it." I imagined the lone hotel standing there near the deep canyon crevices, the two little towns to either side of it, and a coyote running around, snickering.
I'll update more when I have covers, blurbs, and dates for the next books.

Two Stormwalker Series Releases Today!!!

Yay! They're here! SHADOW WALKER releases today, along with the HEXED anthology, which contains a Janet and Mick story: "Double Hexed."
In "Double Hexed," Janet and friends are locked into the hotel by a nasty hex, and even Coyote can't get them out of it.
Shadow Walker is a full-length book--Mick is acting strangely, the Magic Mirror is afraid of him, and Janet's grandmother comes down from the Dine Nation and moves in to the hotel. Characters you met in Firewalker (Cassandra, Colby, Gabrielle) return.
See my website http://www.allysonjames.com/stormwalker.html for more information on both.
Thanks to all the Stormwalker fans!!!

Will pull Winner Today
Phoenix ComicCon took more of my time than I thought it would this weekend, so I was unable to pull a winner on Saturday. I plan to draw today for the Stormwalker trilogy, Virginia Kantra duo, and Alyssa Day book. So keep your fingers crossed--you still have a chance!
Thanks to all the readers and fans who approached me at ComicCon. It was not my venue (I'm not a graphic novelist), so it was good to see people who liked Allyson James's stuff! Thank you so much. Big applause to Mysterious Galaxy bookstore from San Diego who came over with a ton of sff and paranormal romance books.
