Thank You to Readers, from Allyson James

I wanted to take a moment to tell my readers THANK YOU for making this a great year. For enjoying the books; chatting to me here, on FB, email, Twitter, whathaveyou; and all around being fantastic.
As many of you know, I've been completely swamped on the writing front, both with writing and other things behind the scenes. I want to let everyone know that I read and appreciate every single email you write to me privately, every card and letter I get via snail mail, and every post or comment on social media.
I don't always have time right away to answer, but I try to answer every email or letter I can. Sometimes emails get lost in the morass of my inbox (after I've read them), but I do read everything myself; I don't filter my email through an assistant. I appreciate everyone who takes time to write me, and I hope I can answer all your questions.
I've finally had the chance this week (though I'm still editing and proofreading like crazy) to mail off some things people have been waiting for--look for those this coming week or early next.
My schedule is just as crazy going into 2014, but that's a good thing. More Shifters are coming out this spring, more Mackenzies are in the works, I'll be republishing the Immortals series as soon as I can (plan for January). Plus I'm going to get back to the Capt. Lacey series, and revisit the Shareem and the Stormwalker series. Whew. :-)
But even with all that, I couldn't do it without my readers. I tip a big glass of champagne to you all, and again say THANK YOU!!!!
Best,
Allyson James

Allyson James Upates
I've been a little quiet on the Allyson James front, because I've been hugely busy writing books for my Jennifer Ashley and Ashley Gardner personas.
However, once I get those beaten into shape, I'm returning to Allyson James with more Shareem (the re-release of Eland very soon), and more Stormwalker.
I'm debating the name of the next Stormwalker book, but I think it will be Dreamwalker . (Thoughts?) The book visits more about Cassandra's abilities, the ununculous, Emmett Smith, and Gabrielle's powers. As well as catch up on where Janet and Mick are in their relationship.
I'm looking forward to it!

Eland--Where is he?

Eland was originally a short story released as a freebie at Ellora's Cave. The terms for a story like this was that it could be no more than a certain (small) word count, and the contract expired after a year.
So, once the contract expired and the story was pulled from all sites, I decided that the short length wasn't near enough to tell Eland and Jeanne's story.
Therefore, I'm rewriting it now (I'm writing many things now), to make it into a longer novella (maybe even a novel--I'll find out when I get deeper into it).
And it even has a pretty, new cover!
I hope to have Eland finished and out sometime this summer. I'll project a firmer date when I have the manuscript done.
You can subscribe to my email newsletter here to stay informed of new releases.
Thanks for the emails, and sorry for the confusion!

Speaking of Shareem, Calder is a bestseller at All Romance Ebooks! In the top 50. Cool.
I'm also running a sale on Nightwalker (Stormwalker 4) for 99 cents. So if you haven't taken a chance on that book, do get it before the SALE ENDS AT MIDNIGHT OF March 24.

That's all the news that is the news at this moment for Allyson James. Yes, I will be continuing both series! I don't have a lot of time to devote to these books, as you might guess, but I want to do a few more in each series. I don't like to leave things hanging.
Take care.

Braden is next! When I get Braden uploaded, I will do Smashwords editions of the whole series, which will carry over to Apple, Sony, and Kobo. I will also do print editions, because the print versions are now out of print. Don't pay ridiculous amounts to the book sellers out there wanting three figures for one of these. Sit tight, and they'll be out sometime this month.
I'm reading over the books again, correcting things or smoothing out prose. I had forgotten how much fun these books were to write! Like being with friends, low-stress writing, laid back, fun. I hope you enjoy the Shareem boys.

Aiden & Ky Are Back!
Aiden & Ky's book (Tales of the Shareem, Book 3,
Aiden & Ky)
has just been republished at
Kindle: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BEM0T8G
Nook: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/aiden-and-ky-allyson-james/1102612908?ean=2940016195087
Other versions on their way.
Please note that this book is MMF, and I'm not kidding! There will be MM scenes as well as MMF scenes.
And yes, the Shareem use bad language. They are not wont to say "Oh, excuse me, miss, I didn't mean to upset you by implying anything about s- e- x-."
They'd mad, bad, and dangerous to know. And Ky would say, "Suck it up, sh*thead. I'm level three--what the eff did you expect?"
Calder is next. Oh my.

Once all these bad boys are up at Kindle, Nook, and ARe, I'll be loading them all to Smashwords to be distributed to Apple and Kobo.
Thanks for your patience!

And will go to other places as soon as I can get it to Smashwords.
I am frantically working to get the other four books ( Rio , Aiden & Ky , Calder , and Braden) back out over the next couple of weeks. I am finishing up copyedits of Tiger Magic (part of the Shifters series I write as Jennifer Ashley), then I'll tackle the rest of the Shareem (sounds like fun!).

Please have patience! I am buried in work, but the Shareem will be back!!

Tales of the Shareem series--News!!

I will be working to get the books re-formatted, coded, and uploaded as soon as the vendors take them off sale. I don't know how long the transition time will be--some vendors yank them down immediately, some get around to it whenever. But I'll be working hard to get them all back up immediately, especially Rees, book one.
The good news about this is, I'll be able to control the pricing better, and give you all a discount on these books.
The books won't be changing (I had hoped to re-revise them all to polish the writing, but alas, I won't have time, what with all the other writing and editing I'm supposed to be doing!). So if you already have them, you have them, just with the EC covers.
And before you ask--yes, I will be putting out print versions. You can still buy print from Ellora's Cave via Amazon, or the EC site, because they retain the right to sell off the print copies they still have. When those are gone, I'll be doing my own print copies.
I'll post when the new books are up! Hopefully within the week! Yay!

More Stormwalker to come
I have had emails from a few readers concerned that Stormwalker will not continue past
Nightwalker
because it was self-published.
I'm pleased to say that I have plans to continue the series, including stories that will get into other POVs (eg., Mick, Nash and others). I'm happy with the response to Nightwalker thus far (sales, reader feedback, and reviews), and I have many more ideas for this series and the characters..
Also, I LOVE self-pubbing. So I'm not worried if I don't find another publisher for the series. I'm happy to do it on my own.
Self-pubbing means I can keep the ebook price reasonable, and I can offer a print edition orderable through Amazon (or directly through me if you don't want to use Amazon).
So--Stormwalker will continue! I'm debating the title for the next one, which will involve Gabrielle a bit more. More on that when I know it. Plus I'm working on a couple shorter books.
I am working on a flurry of things for Berkley at the moment (Shifters long and short books; Mackenzies books) but when that lets up, I'll be back with Stormwalker, and the Shareem too!
Best,
Allyson James
