Couched as a Question now free

Couched as a Question, originally published by Torquere, all profits going to NOH8, is now back with me, so I'm adding it to my free read section here

It's a sweet romance, with a play spanking in there (how did that happen? ;-)).

When Matt's partner Jordan suggests redecorating, Matt's agreeable until he discovers it means getting rid of the red couch. It means a lot to Matt, and if Jordan's bored of it, maybe it's not the only part of Jordan's life he wants to change.

Free Read; Cat Scratch Fever

Cat Scratch Fever is a short story of mine from 2008, previously published by Torquere and now out of print. I made a few tiny changes and added it to my free reads here.

Garin's having a bad day. He doesn't use his magic very often, because his human lover Simon doesn't like it, but sometimes it just builds up inside him. Like today. Which is why, when he's faced with a health inspector and a wayward cat, he ends up with a magical debacle. Suddenly, he has to deal with Tom, who used to be a cat, a very angry Simon, and the problem of trying to get Tom back where he belongs. Can Garin fix the problem with Tom, and with Simon's distrust in his magic, in time to set everything back to rights?

I have one more freebie to edit, but it'll have to wait until I've finished editing the new one Alexa and I have just written.

Wintergreen

Tyler and Dan are heading off on a vacation in this sequel to Wild Raspberries, but life has a way of throwing a wrench into even the best laid plans. All work and no play makes Dan restless and bored, waiting for Tyler to complete a task for his former boss, Cole. The job is an important one, for sure. Tyler is looking for a traitor, responsible for the deaths of several agents. That doesn't make being ignored any easier to deal with, and Dan wonders if their relationship is strong enough to last through the lull.

When the job finally ends, Dan is more than ready to go with Tyler to see the sights. He expects beaches, mountains, sun and surf. Instead, Dan is thrown headlong into Tyler's world, where death is a heartbeat away, not a lifetime, and the man he loves is the one dealing it out. Can Dan learn to live with what he finds out, or will he have to make his way back to a life that he ran away from?
