Unveiling of Life Stories By Ajit

Why Idea of Life Stories By Ajit?

Ever since, I had started reading and following people who have been world famous, I had always been questioning myself.

Can only people who have become super successful and world famous inspire people?

Over the course of my life, I have chanced to meet and learn a lot from people who have been extremely inspiring. Many of them were not these super successful people who we often hear and read about, but common lesser known people who too had overcome extreme crisis in life like no less than a phoenix.

I met them all around wherever I ventured, on bus stands, railway stations, while travelling and in the societies and places I have grown up in. They were no less inspiring than the TATA’s, BIRLA’s, AMBANI’s, Bill Gates, and Steve Jobs of the world.

I have always been looking around for their stories but I could never find them at any store.

The reason is more than obvious, which is, that who will unnecessarily waste their time in knowing and writing about these lesser known people, not so famous people?

I wanted to showcase to the world the stories of such lesser known but no less inspiring people than the people who we have often been hearing about as inspirational.

Now that I am recognized enough as an author, I am taking this initiative, ‘Life Stories by Ajit’ for a noble cause, to inspire people through real stories of real people.

What inspired me to take up this project that has now turned into an initiative as a noble cause?

Taking up this project at this point in my life, when I am tied up with multiple writing projects, training, public speaking and narration, was not easy. The reason is so noble and inspiring that this initiative is no more an additional project for me, but something that would probably motivate me to finish all of my other projects also on time.

It has become a cause, because the kind of response that I received with one single message that I had broadcasted to my whatsapp contacts was overwhelming.

I posted a message to them mentioning the idea of launching this series and I received about 743 responses in a matter of six hours. I got exhausted thanking each one of them that day. Though only about fifteen odd stories out of them were worthy of falling in line with the objective of #LifeStoriesByAjit Series.

So I have decided that even after the first year’s 10 stories 10 months commitment to the world is through, this series, this initiative would continue so that the objective of this cause, which is to inspire people world over continues.

Why I chose ‘The Vent Machine’ as an exclusive platform to showcase the life stories to the world?

The idea of doing something of this kind has been brewing up inside me, from very long. I had actually been following, reading, and meeting a lot of people only because of this idea in mind.

Then one fine day, the thought of designing this series “Life Stories by Ajit” cropped inside my mind. The next big question after the ideation stage was the presentation and the promotion part of it.

One day, while I was casually browsing through one of the blog post links, that one of my recent acquaintances had sent me across, passed before my eyes with a flash of burning light.

The post was by Ms. Surabhi Pandey and the blog was THE VENT MACHINE.

I had hardly known her personally till that time. It was only at the book launch event of my second book, I think I know you…Karunya, Do I? , held at the New Delhi World Book Fair in January 2018, had I come to know of her.

The first reason of choosing The Vent Machine was the word “VENT” she has used in naming her blog, which was also primarily the reason why I started off on this journey of weaving words as a writer and then as a storyteller, to vent.

Second reason was the way, Ms. Surabhi Pandey, the founder and the curator of this blog, The Vent Machine conducts herself online. Her mannerisms and the thought process which if I can correctly guess was to create a platform, a forum where she and the likes like her can vent out

Third reason was the presentation of her blog. The way she has chosen, the kind of people to write upon on her blog and the thought process behind doing what she is trying to do through her blog, quite naturally aligned with my internal wiring.

How I and THE VENT MACHINE with its founder Ms. Surabhi Pandey connect on empathizing for the world?

I think me and this platform by Ms. Surabhi Pandey together form the perfect collaboration for this initiative, an unheard empathetic partnership, for a cause so big, one which probably even the two of us cannot envisage right now.

We are living in a world today where depression is a common mental disorder with more than 300 million people across all age groups suffering from it.

Close to 800,000 people die due to suicide every year with all the more shocking statistics of suicide being the second leading cause of death in 15-29 year olds. Not only depression, there are so many other physical and mental disorders people get diseased with because of the various medical and emotional reasons in their life.

And the best way to come out of them, the strongest way, is to get inspired by people who have either suffered or are suffering from similar problems and have come out of it much more strongly to lead a mainstream life.

What can people seek from the series?

People in general, can expect as I have repeated in all of my promotional posts, real stories of real people.

I remember someone coming back to me and asking what do you mean by real people. So for me what I mean as ‘real people’ is the common-unknown-not so famous people who have rock solid mettle to not only fight with the extreme problems in life, but come out heroically from them as real heroes.

Real Stories, because these are stories as memoirs, as biographical narration, and includes a warm, heart to heart interaction, a rendezvous in a question-answer format.

What can readers expect?

Readers can expect some REAL STUFF; biographical works of people who would make you wonder and force you to re-think the way you do.
You as readers must have read a lot of biographies, mostly of people who were already very famous. That probably would have been the biggest reason of picking those biographies at the first place. Isn’t it?

I am going to present before the world unheard, not so famous people with a story not only worth reading and knowing them but taking inspiration from them to change their own life for good.

Fervent Collaboration with The Vent Machine

Life has a lot to teach. It offers ways so different and yet so customized to each one of us to learn from. I, so far in this journey called life, have learned a lot from the common ‘mango’ people, those with profound wisdom. Reason being, that I could never reach out to the sages and geniuses, people so widely worship.

Do we too, most of us, are not always short of such wise guides and mentors in our life?

Just in case, if we are able to find those who are considered genuine mentors, we can either not reach out to them for innumerous reasons we all are aware of or they too come with a price tag, exorbitantly high, out of our reach.

Then who should we look up to for the problems so major in our life, that life itself becomes unbearable.

Being in this dilemma for years, I somehow managed to practice a way of living which was different from a lot of people around, which I continue to practice even today.

Learn from the stories of the people around you, read about people and their stories from around the world, watch videos on You Tube and Facebook, about people who have anything worthwhile to offer and learn as you live with people around you from the everyday experiences of life.

Stories inspire. Yes, they inspire so much, that one story of a person from the remotest of corners of the world can change your life forever.

That was one big reason, for bringing forth before the people, such inspiring stories of common unsung heroes and sheroes. The intention was that all such people who find their day-to-day problems unbearable to survive along, can read these stories of inspiration and learn to fight against the trivial to major problems in their life.

Timely, with the blessings of the infinite intelligence, the supreme energy, I am finally collaborating with, all such like-minded souls.

One such soul is Surabhi Pandey.

Why am I talking about Surabhi Pandey and The Vent Machine on this post?

As I had mentioned earlier in this post, we are collaborating, and embarking together on a soulful journey, which we would christen as #lifestoriesbyajit.

Stories of people who have undergone any form of physical or mental extremities in life and have hence come out flying, fighting strongly against them. They are now, either leading or trying to lead a mainstream life, irrespective of any such extremities in their past. Thus, are inspiring the people around.

These people might not be famed enough to inspire the entire generation but even if they are a model of inspiration to few hundreds of people around us, they befittingly would become a subject of #lifestoriesbyajit.

My School “My Father” Hindi edition coming out soon

My School “My Father”, my first book, the English edition was published in 2016. With the worldwide acceptance it had received, this book on parenting had ranked up to become an Amazon number 1 best-selling book in the non-fiction genre in the family and relationships category in May 2018.

Though, when I had started writing this blog in 2009 on blogger.com which was later imported towordpress.com, I had never thought it would lead me to this stage. The first blog series which I had started as “Conversations between Mr. Nair and his son Prashantan”, would shape into a book form, was something which I could have never imagined. That series in its book form was titled as My School “My Father”, a book on parenting. And my journey as a published author began with it.

One year later, with the kind of motivation and acceptance which I received from the people around and then from the readers across the globe, I finished writing my second, which was a romantic-thriller novel, I think I know you…Karunya, Do I?

With this book, I forayed into the world of literature as a fiction author. The book received international acclaim and was among the top 20 books at the Amazon- American Idol for book lovers, Kindle Scout contest 2017. Being amongst the list of New York time bestselling authors with this novel, was a recognition, which could take any newbie author to the cloud nine. It was a moment of extreme joy and pride.

While I was being read by thousands of new readers every day, hundreds of e-mails with requests to release My School “My Father” and all my upcoming books, in regional languages started pouring in. Hindi was the highest rated language on request by the readers across the country, followed by Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati.

No doubt it was overwhelming for me as an author. After all how could have a writer and blogger turned amateur author, take all of this unexpected attention so soon.

I had been promising my patrons, the readers of my work, that the books would soon start coming out in other language editions as well.

So the time has come to acknowledge my readers’ requests.

And so popularity of this five * reviewed book, My School “My Father” on Amazon and Goodreads and on demand by thousands of Hindi language readers, the book is now coming out in its Hindi avatar.

The daunting task was to look out for a good translator, and that was what took so much of time. And once that was done, this extremely talented Hindi writer and poet have taken quality time to translate the book.

Check out his bio

Aashutosh Kumar Gupta is a 35 old, thoughtful writer and an independent journalist. Born and brought up in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, he now lives with his wife and two children in Lucknow. After completing MBA from the University of Lucknow in 2006, he had worked for eight years in fmcg companies like Brittania, Dabur and other such different multi-national companies, across North India.

Having worked in considerably a large expanse of geographical area, he got a lot of exposure to different novel and innovative ways of working. And then he went into a brief period of introspection about his life and tried discovering the ultimate purpose of his life.

And then as the sanskrit word “dwij” which means born twice, he was born again out of the ashes of his first version like Shanon Perry said “Rising from the ashes, I am born again, powerful, exultant, majestic through all the pain”.

The human being form is the only living form which is called “dwij” because after he has taken birth on this planet, he is re-born the second time, only when he realizes his abilities and the ultimate purpose of his life.

And so with his eloquence and his own time zoned thought process, while exploring his purpose of life, in 2014, he resigned from a promising job of being an operations manager, and came to Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh.

The great interest he had in the Hindi language and the social issues our society dauntingly face every day, inspired him to get into journalism and writing in Hindi.

First thing first, to master the language, he completed his Masters in Hindi (M.A Hindi) and then began taking up various assignments. His write-ups and poems regularly get published in various magazines and journals of companies.

Writing is not a profession for him but a long desired love interest, with which he wants to serve the society in general.

Translation is his core expertise and his next goal in the wish list is to learn different regional languages.

Contact him personally for any work of translation from English to Hindi on his email id, aashutoshgupta5@gmail.com

#101TipsToLearnEnglish- An initiative

English is a funnnny language; no doubt.

Do you know how many people in the World speak English?

Out of the world’s approximately 7.5 billion inhabitants, 1.5 billion speak English — that’s 20% of the Earth’s population. So this funnnny language is spoken by a whopping 20% of the world’s population.

Isn’t that not big enough to take its centrally important role in most of the people’s life around the world?

However, most of those people aren’t native English speakers. About 360 million people speak English as their first language.

Rest are non-native English speakers.

[image error]I don’t know if you can walk English, Eat English or sleep English but if you don’t know how to write and speak this “angrezo” की language in India, you have the grimmest of chances being successful, at least in the Indian job market.

I had started a group on Facebook called Reader’s Paradise, with an objective to help people understand the merits of being a good reader. There are about 3.6k members and increasing, in that group now.

I am going a step further in this cause to contribute a little more by helping you (mind it, not all. Not for those who know this language really well or even those who know mildly good enough to transact. They can ignore.) learn this language.

#TargetAudience : Beginners in English language. All others who find it useful but know English, I am not forbidding them to use these tips. They can.

#101TipsToLearnEnglishLanguage is what I am going to start, as a post, with one tip everyday at 8:00 am and a repeat post at 9:00 pm IST, everyday.

The tips might appear simple enough to be ignored, but if you read every tip atleast thrice, slowly and loudly, uttering every word and then work on that tip, diligently, you would for sure, see the improvement, you wish to bring.

#Disclaimer: These 101 tips are a work of rigorous research and help has been taken from the already existing similar work.
