Living the Dream With Friends
Imagine living alone on a boat or in a remote cabin. What is missing? Friends.
We are all social creatures who crave fellowship, fun, and friendship. Whether you need a lot of people around you or just a few, relationships ARE important to you.
Go to a football game alone. Go to the movies alone. Go skiing alone. Nah. I think not. Such events need to be shared. Aside from the reality that there is safety in numbers, the simple feeling of being able to experience...

Living the Dream With Animals
Living the Dream With Animals
For many of us, living the dream without animals would be unthinkable. Dogs, cats, horses and even hamsters are enriching contributors to our sense of well-being. More that, they provide warmth, joy, and unconditional love. Of course, they can also require a lot of work. Yet the emotional return on investment is off the charts. Where else can you get so much back for so little?

Living the Dream With an Open Mind
To sincerely embrace a life full of possibilities, one must keep an open mind. Someone else will always have a different approach which seems odd to you. When you overlay their template on top of yours, the patterns do not always match up. Different strokes for different folks. Right? Yet there might be a line or two that you can incorporate into your design.
For example, living in a camper on the road for three years showed me many different ways to stay co...

Living the Dream in the Present, Not in the Past
You can learn from the past. You can also ask forgiveness for the things you have done wrong. Those are about the only useful things I have found that you can do with the past. Living the dream is a very much a present and future oriented endeavor.
The past will drag you down if you let it. We’ve all made mistakes. Some of those mistakes have had grievous consequences. Allowing those mistakes to dictate how we will behave in the future is, none...

Living the Dream Means Flexibility – Tips From a Life Coach
You only have 168 hours in a week. This is a constant for all humanity. What you do with your 24×7 results in the measure of success you achieve. To truly make the most of your time, you must be flexible.
Unless you are independently wealthy, getting work done is a dominant aspect of your day. However, your circumstances will dictate flexibility. Even the most entrenched city dweller with a stable environment experiences constant dis...

Living the Dream with Family – Tips From a Life Coach
I just got back from a trip to Florida. Amongst business meetings, I was also able to spend time with my son, his wife, and our grandson. It was such joy to see how a two-year-old bonds with his parents. It was even a greater joy to see how much my son enjoys being a dad.
For many of us, family is a very high priority. We will stop at nothing to be with and provide for those we love. Living the dream means having rich relationships with th...

Living the Dream on the Road as a Life Coach
8 feet wide and 32 feet long on the inside; that was the size of the travel trailer we used when we moved back to the USA after living in Germany for 23 years. Instead of picking a place and settling down, we decided to live and work on the road. With creative internet connectivity, flexible job schedules, and a dog named Angel, we traveled to 37 American states and 4 Canadian provinces over three years.
