It’s called The Hack and appears on London-based Sci-fi magazine The Singularity’s website.

You can have a read here. (Excerpt below.)

Rep-7 stared at the photograph. He recorded the details: fuzzy brown and black fur, short snout, ears and eyes large in comparison to the overall size and shape of the face. A puppy. He cross-referenced the picture and the network came back...

It had never occurred to him that the red elk wasn’t real. For a year now, Sato had followed its trail through the thick forest around the mountain that people called the Sea of Trees and Sato called his playgrou...

Excited to say my debut novel, Dead in Autumn, Buried in Winter is out now in paperback and on Kindle!

You can buy it on Amazon or Createspace.

Old Blue Eyes, Madonna, Chewbacca and Frankenstein’s Monster go trick-or-treating in the upmarket part of town. They find a lavish three-storey house lying empty, the keys left in the lock. They should post them through the letterbox, they should hand them in to a neighbour, they should leave them under the doormat. But they don’t.

It is Hallowe’en af...

FunDead Christmas horror

Really excited to have a short story accepted for FunDead Publication’s Christmas horror anthology.

Yet to be named, it’ll be coming out later in the year – a perfect Christmas stocking present, maybe? – full of scary tales in the vein of Charles Dickens and Algernon Blackwood.

My own story, The Sixpence in the Pudding, is a Gothic horror – Victorian mansions, creaky door hinges, humbugs, you name it. More info, and the chance of a sneak peek, soon.

FunDead – based in Salem, Massachusetts, fa...
