Earth and universe belong to water,

as I lost ages in my right hand.

19 Years.

Santiago de Compostella.

I had a choice.

It was not a bad idea.

I left another choice.

We arrived that day by rain.

I moved to the (small) village.

France.

A church and a rooster.

A small path.

A very small path.

One fire. Three people and a baby.

The fire was made in a machine.

The machine for laundry.

Their faces were black, almost brown.

The house(s) were almost gone.

Half way, there.

I started to talk to them

and I was allowed to sit, down.

Our gestures became quiet and silent.

Grandmother offered me her cookie

in plastic with rose sugar.

The second cookie, I rejected but not refused.

There was a silence.

But the fire had become warmer.

Autumn lights

On a winter’s night

a tale has begun.

A young girl feels it, when birds

become quiet, and silent… .

One girl stood in autumn for the lights of houses.

She wondered, what could she do, to be more important

than the Sun, Water, Moon & Lightning, she already was.

During all the years, she saw her people

inside the houses at nights.

Nights have been protecting, her.

One day, a light strengthened

the light in her eyes.

She knew then, her wonder

wondered no more.
