Next to him,

I saw

how he watched

the moment

of waters, wind,

clouds and the Sun.

Next, to him,

I see how he paints

all his visions, his remarks

and silences.

On his pavement, pieces

are changing lights.

It’s not a spotlight.

Next to him on his pavement,

the streets of autumn are delighted

by summer rains and winter laughter.

I know now, birds sing in spring.

Once in two weeks, I thought so, we had vanilla ice cream.

In France, we had (white) chocolate bars.

In Britain, we offered scrambled eggs in nice and sweet green woods.

I do not know, if you ever have been

to England, but it rains.

A ship does not bring you by boat.

I gave you a new land to climb an old mountain.

Mountains are homelands for birds and skies.
