This recent photo shows 95-year old Oscar nominated actress Cara Williams reading her signed copy of “Collateral Damage” in bed. In the book, she is quoted about having known Marilyn on a movie set and also having met Marilyn's mother, the only actress alive to have done so. Also included is an image of her playing “Billy’s Mother” in the 1958 film “The Defiant Ones," the role that she was nominated for. Bless her!

NYPD Investigation of Dorothy Kilgallen Murder

This evidence includes further proof that journalist Ron Pataky, still alive today, was responsible for setting up Kilgallen “for the kill,” with the demand that Dorothy finally receive the justice she deserves. Collateral Damage

To be Published June 1, the 95th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s birthdate, this History-Making Book, based on 15 years of Research, Connects, for the First Time, the Life and Times and the Deaths of Marilyn (1962), JFK (1963) and Dorothy (1965) with the Result of this Author’s Investigating the Three Deaths in Reverse Order Proving Marilyn was Murdered Providing this Shocking Conclusion:

“The JFK assassination could have been prevented in 1963 if Robert Kennedy was prosecuted for complicity in Marilyn Monroe’s murder with the result that Bobby’s abuse of power as attorney general would have been neutralized and his enemies would not have killed the president in 1963 changing the course of history.” See if you agree.

Demand for Re-Investigation of Marilyn Monroe’s Death Based on New Evidence in “Collateral Damage” Pending

Upon Publication of “Collateral Damage,” a Demand Letter and the Book will be sent to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón. The Letter in part, reads:

“On the very date that would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 95th birthday, I am strongly requesting that your office re-open the investigation into her tragic death on August 4, 1962 . . . The enclosed “Evidence Report” should convince you that the film star did not commit “probable suicide” but was murdered. And that the man responsible was then attorney general Robert F. Kennedy who also covered up the truth in an abuse of power that included “persuading” his friend, LA Police Chief William Parker, to conduct no real investigation into her death even after Deputy Medical Examiner Thomas Noguchi bungled Marilyn’s autopsy to the tune of never even examining vital organs he misplaced, accidentally or more likely, on purpose, that could have exposed how she died.”

A Link to the Letter will be provided in the next newsletter.

COLLATERAL DAMAGE
Based on new evidence and an unorthodox research strategy never attempted before, besides being three of most inspiring historical figures of the 20th century, Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy and Dorothy Kilgallen should have never died so early in life and within 40 months of one another, each a victim of Robert F. Kennedy’s abuse of power. While humanizing each of these icons, “Collateral Damage” exposes the truth regarding three murder mysteries that are not really mysteries at all. Link to Amazon posting.

Cover-up Suspected Regarding NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea Misconduct Allegations Regarding Dorothy Kilgallen Murder Case.

Read Mark Shaw’s Recent Letter to NYPD Inspector General Phil Eure Objecting to Delays and Alleging Possible Cover-up by the IG’s office instead of full investigation of Commissioner Dermot Shea’s Abuse of Power Denying Dorothy Kilgallen Justice.

Rare Copy of Dorothy Kilgallen’s book,
“Girl Around the World” Purchased; Donated by Mark Shaw to his Purdue University Archival Collection.

At the young age of 24, Dorothy Kilgallen displayed her courage when she challenged two male reporters to a trip around the world using only commercial transportation (planes, ships, rail). Following the race, Dorothy recorded her experiences in dramatic fashion while setting a record for the fastest five-thousand-mile span ever traveled at that time, Hawaii to New York City. The image on the book cover is Dorothy carrying a hat box and her typewriter, her only “luggage.” Efforts to re-print a copy of the book, which features Kilgallen stating, “I’m a reporter who likes danger and excitement,” are underway with the book to be available as part of the Mark Shaw Archival Collection at Purdue University (press release) in spring 2021.

Before this breakthrough book methodically weaves together heretofore ignored solid evidence and fresh facts linking the life and times and tragic deaths of three 20th century icons, Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy, and Dorothy Kilgallen. Most importantly, historian Mark Shaw, for the first time, implicates Robert Kennedy in a web of intrigue pointing in the direction of the attorney general as the hub of deceit, abuse of power and cover-up that cost Marilyn, JFK and Dorothy their lives as collateral damage resulting from RFK’s actions.

Written in the spirit of Shaw’s bestseller ‘The Reporter Who Knew Too Much,’ and ‘Denial of Justice,’ ‘Collateral Damage’ takes true crime murder mysteries to another level by investigating three of the most compelling deaths in history while humanizing Marilyn, JFK and Dorothy as never before.”

What are the odds of the NYPD “Cold Case Squad” investigating Dorothy Kilgallen death?

50/50. Awaiting determination of the Complaint I filed with the NYPD Inspector General regarding NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea’s misconduct and abuse of authority concerning Dorothy’s death. Decision expected later this month.

Kennedy’s complicity in the murder of Marilyn Monroe in 1962 and he had been prosecuted based on compelling evidence at the time, the
assassination of JFK by Bobby’s enemies would not have happened in 1963—changing the course of history and preventing the murder of media icon Dorothy Kilgallen, this author’s new book will be published in April 2021.

Inspector General for NYPD Investigates Commissioner Shea

Based on this author’s Complaint alleging misconduct and abuse of authority against NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea filed on October 7, 2020 regarding his refusal to investigate Dorothy Kilgallen’s death, the office of Inspector General for NYPD, Dept. of Investigation, is reviewing the allegations with a decision anticipated in late December, 2020. If the Complaint, due to a cover-up, results in Shea not being held accountable, an appeal will be made to NY Attorney General Letitia James.

Inspiring this author’s continuing quest to get Dorothy the investigation she deserves is a quote attributed to novelist Lois McMaster Bujold:

“The dead cannot cry out for justice.
It is the duty of the living to do so for them”

Help for Aspiring Authors

To inspire and encourage aspiring authors regarding how to build a career as a published author, I have recently videotaped “The Accidental Author: A Retrospective of my Body of Work,” an inside look at my journey from book #1 in 1992 to nearly thirty books published to date. Bottom line: If someone like me who took nearly six years to get through college and had no training as a writer but whose books will now be part of the prestigious Purdue University archives, can do it, so can anyone with a plan to succeed based on a competent strategy and hard work.
