Learn from History: Question Authority
I am very blessed that, to date, there are more than 400,000 YouTube views of my June 10 interview at the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco and the July 8 presentation at a prestigious library near Dallas (link below). This said, the main question I am asked by folks around the world via email is “Why do we care about what happened to Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Kilgallen and JFK when they died some 60 years ago? And the answer I give is twofold, first, my research is all about history and destroying distortions of history, but more importantly, the relevance is that during the early 1960s when these three icons died, no questions were asked but instead government accounts were accepted without any real inquiry as to what really happened. And that failure to question extends to this day so in my interviews, etc. I encourage people, especially young people, to ask questions whether it is about the vaccine, actions of congress, or issues in their neighborhood or city, so the truth is exposed. If that doesn’t happen, we have no one to blame but ourselves regarding the crazy state of the world today.

Dear Mr. Gascón,
Having not received the courtesy of a response to the June 1st letter I sent to you, the very date that would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 95th birthday (June 1), I once again am strongly requesting that your office re-open the investigation into her tragic death on August 4, 1962, the anniversary of which occurs in a few days. My demand is based on compelling new primary source evidence compiled based on fifteen years of research for my latest book, “Collateral Damage: The Mysterious Deaths of Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Kilgallen and the Ties That Bind them to Robert Kennedy and the JFK Assassination” which was published on June 1 and sent to you along with a lengthy “Evidence Report” and a list of the many witness still alive who may be interviewed.
Before repeating the substance of the first letter I sent long in June, here are some important updates regarding what has occurred since the book’s release indicating widespread interest in a re-investigation. For your interest are two YouTube videos, the first one of a lengthy Zoom interview I gave at the prestigious Commonwealth Club of San Francisco on June 10. It was projected onto a large screen and to date, both the non-edited and edited versions (some new slides were included), have garnered nearly 200,000 YT views, a record for the club, in less than 50 days. Here is the link to the video and if you look closed at the more than 3000 Comments, most deal with the need to re-investigate Marilyn’s death.
The second video captures a presentation I provided at the Allen Public Library near Dallas on July 8. In just seven days since it was posted on YT, there are more than 40,000 views and a considerable amount of Comments. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkjiFJrC_mg
By having you or one of your staff watch the videos, or any one of a number of podcast, radio and television interviews available on YT, you will get a sense of the outrage existing due to the injustice involved with Marilyn’s death when the Medical Examiner’s office concluded she killed herself. Regarding the cause of death, nothing could be further from the truth as I wrote in my letter of June 1st. Here is the body of that letter:
Since the book is lengthy (600+ pages), and the text chronicles not only the life and times and deaths of Marilyn but connects them for the first time with the deaths JFK and revered journalist Kilgallen, I am including an “Evidence Report” that I believe you convince you that the film star did not commit “probable suicide” but was murdered. And that the man responsible was then attorney general Robert F. Kennedy who also covered up the truth in an abuse of power that included “persuading” his friend, LA Police Chief William Parker, to conduct no real investigation into her death even after Deputy Medical Examiner Thomas Noguchi bungled Marilyn’s autopsy to the tune of never even examining vital organs he misplaced, accidentally or more likely, on purpose, that could have exposed how she died.
Of vital importance here is your office conducting a re-investigation sooner than later since many of those who knew Marilyn, or may shed light on her death are up in age including Dr. Noguchi and revered forensic scientist Dr. Cyril Wecht with the latter having been this author’s expert regarding Marilyn’s demise but also the deaths of JFK and Dorothy Kilgallen. As this book, and two I have written about her before, the bestseller, “The Reporter Who Knew Too Much,” and “Denial of Justice,” prove, she did not die of an accidental overdose of barbiturates combined with alcohol, “Circumstances Undermined,” in November 1965, but was silenced based on her threats to expose those who orchestrated the JFK assassination and those who cover-up the truth in a book she was writing for Random House shortly before she died.
My research has indicated more than 50 similarities between these two remarkable and inspiring women’s life and times and especially their deaths. They were friends and by employing a unique research method, investigating JFK’s death (1963), then Kilgallen’s (1965) and finally Marilyn’s (1962) in reverse order, I believe I have provided the trail for you and your investigators to follow so as to clear Marilyn’s reputation by proving she did not commit suicide but was the victim of a homicide.
With this in mind, I trust your credo will parallel mine based on a quote from acclaimed novelist Lois McMaster Bujold, who wrote, “The dead cannot cry out for justice. It is the duty of the living to do so for them.” Thus I have had the duty, and now you do as well, to sort out justice for Marilyn who may not defend herself but relies on you and a private citizen like me to do for her.
Since, as you will read, LA police malfeasance ran rampant regarding Marilyn’s death, I am contacting you instead of LAPD or the Sheriff’s Department as I fear a cover up if either of these agencies handle the re-investigation involving inept police conduct regarding this cold case. Instead, I am counting on you to assign it to your Bureau of Investigation (BOI), so no conflict of interest may be evident. Marilyn deserves a fresh, independent probe of her death unlike the one undertaken in 1982, nearly 40 years ago, that was based on speculation, questionable witnesses, and did not at all include the fresh, primary source evidence presented in “Collateral Damage” pointing to complicity by Robert F. Kennedy when her demise is considered in the context of both the deaths of JFK and Dorothy Kilgallen, with the result an historical one of enormous consequences:
That the JFK assassination could have been prevented in 1963 if Robert Kennedy was prosecuted for complicity in Marilyn Monroe’s murder with the result that Bobby’s abuse of power as attorney general would have been neutralized and his enemies would not have killed the president in 1963 changing the course of history.
Such a statement, as you will read, makes good sense in lieu of the evidence presented based on my research as not only an historian of note but a bestselling author, a former criminal defense lawyer, and a legal analyst for the Mike Tyson, O. J. Simpson and Kobe Bryant cases for USA Today, CNN, ABC, and ESPN. Most recently, I have been quite honored that my alma mater, Purdue University, requested to be the archival repository of my body of work, my nearly 30 published books, research books, articles, and so forth with more than 1000 items to be preserved alongside those of Amelia Earhart and Neil Armstrong. Here is a link to the October 2020 press release which validates my credibility. (https://tinyurl.com/yyth7afp).
As you proceed with your office’s investigation, please keep in mind that if Marilyn’s last name had been “Doe,” and she hadn’t been a movie star known around the world, the chances are that she would have been treated to a full investigation of her death based on all of the obvious evidence pointing to her homicide. When you read the portion of the book focused on humanizing this amazing woman, please keep in mind that she was a kind and gentle soul, one who overcame gender discrimination from the days when she grew up basically motherless to when she became a star all while being labeled a “dumb blonde,” a characterization that evidence indicates was totally uncalled for.
Mr. Gascón, at the very least, the ME “verdict” must be altered since there is no evidence that Marilyn committed suicide based on all of the factors you will read about in the “Evidence Report.” This said, attached is the pertinent, confidential material from “Collateral Damage” for your review. I trust you and your colleagues will do what has never been done before, provide Marilyn with justice as a victim, one whose life was terminated by a powerful man who then used that power to cover up the truth based on the following conclusions:
Marilyn Monroe, whose love affair with attorney general Bobby Kennedy is little known to this day, did not commit “probable suicide” in 1962 and might have celebrated her 95th birthday on June 1st if she had not been the victim of verbal abuse and then set up for the kill on August 4, 1962 by Bobby following Marilyn’s brief sexual affair with JFK. (CD pages 277-281, 502, 503, and throughout book);RFK’s motive to silence Marilyn was based on her threatening him with a “tell-all” disclosure to the mediaof matters of national security leaked to her by the Kennedy brothers and Bobby treating her like “a piece of meat, facts never fully explored before. (CD pages 496-503);Marilyn’s murder by RFK’s operatives was covered up by LA Police Chief William Parker, a close friend of the attorney general who never considered the forensic evidence but instead took the word of three psychiatrists who misreported Marilyn’s mental state. (CD page 539);The truth about Marilyn’s death has never been fully investigated triggering this author’s demand for your office to re-investigate;More than 50 similarities exist between the life and times and deaths of Marilyn Monroe and her friend, Dorothy Kilgallen including each being victims of gender discrimination and denied justice when they died;Three clues heretofore ignored regarding Marilyn’s cause of death point to murder: Her housekeeper doing “dirty sheets” laundry when police arrived, a “fresh” bruise on her hip mentioned in the bogus autopsy report but dismissed as unimportant by researchers, and a mixture of Chloral Hydrate and Nembutal discovered in Marilyn’s blood stream prove the that barbiturates were ingested but inserted rectally. (CD pages 544-546);A damaging mid-1962 letter from Jean Kennedy Smith to Marilyn (“understand that you and Bobby are the new item!”) proves Marilyn/RFK tryst, and “The Rothberg Report,” a secret government document, connects Marilyn, JFK, and revered journalist Dorothy Kilgallen with RFK the common denominator. (CD pages 438 and 497).Your investigation will, I believe, cement these conclusion, permitting you to be part of destroying distortions of history perpetuated for six decades and counting. Since you have a reputation as a man of the truth, I am confident in your ability to discover that truth and let the world know that Marilyn, a victim of gender discrimination and viscous rumors during her entire life, was a woman to be respected, one who may be an inspiration to young folks looking for a hero.
Thank you for the consideration. A list of the available witnesses as noted in the Evidence Report is included at the end of the text.
Based on the substance of that letter and your reputation as a man of the truth who deeply cares about crime victims, I am asking, along with thousands of others who deeply care about Marilyn, to immediately announce to the media your intention to provide a thorough re-investigation of her death, perhaps on August 4, the anniversary of that death. On my end, I promise to cooperate fully by assisting your investigators with witness contact including one who recently provided a chilling account as to the means by which Marilyn died confirming my analysis in the book.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Mark Shaw

Emails with NYPD Cold Case Squad Detetive Phillip Panzarella Regarding His Promise to Investigate Dorothy Kilgallen’s Death
After being contacted by Det. Panzarella two months ago and be assured he was going to “look into” the mysterious death of revered journalist and media icon Dorothy Kilgallen in 1965, a death that I have proven was murdered, Panzarella then refused to continue our dialogue following in the footsteps of others including NYC DA Cyrus Vance, Jr.,, Detective Richard Ramos, ADA Eugene Hurley, NYC Police Commissioner Dermot Shea, who promised investigation and then denied Kilgallen justice by never following through with those promises. If you feel strongly that an investigation is warranted, please contact Panzarella at phillip.panzarella@nypd.org.
Sergeant Detective Panzarella –
Since I am a straight shooter, I’m going to give you a heads-up on certain developments that will begin to occur in the media over the next few months regarding your Dorothy Kilgallen investigation, one that you began on your own, not at my request to you. First though, I am going to give you some information about me that if are you half of the investigator I believe you to be, you already know.
I am doing this because I would assume you believe as I do that during our lives, there are certain defining moments that dictate the type of life we lead and the legacy we leave behind when we pass into the next world, whatever that is. Because of your deciding on your own to probe Dorothy’s death, a defining moment is happening in your life and you must decide whether it is positive or negative in nature.
In case you don’t know, I am not your normal private person reporting a crime, but a former criminal defense lawyer (many of my best friends were police officers) who specialized in murder cases, a TV network legal analyst for CNN, ESPN, and USA Today for the Mike Tyson, O. J. Simpson and Kobe Bryant cases (if you want to see me interviewed, watch the ABC Mini-Series, “Tyson: The Knockout,” tonight at 8 pm EST, repeated tomorrow on Hulu), a bestselling author whose written nearly thirty books including two about Dorothy (“The Reporter Who Knew Too Much,” and “Denial of Justice” with another being published today entitled “Collateral Damage: The Mysterious Deaths of Marilyn Monroe, JFK and Dorothy Kilgallen and the Ties that Bind Them to Robert Kennedy and the JFK Assassination”). If you would like a copy of any of these books and I will send one to you.
If you take a look at YouTube, you will see that there are more than 2 million views of my presentations and interviews. One that may interest you focuses on “Denial of Justice” and that presentation (it went viral) may be watched at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYDaqto22NY
Now, I am not attempting to impress you with my credentials, but instead to encourage you to work with me on Dorothy’s case, not stonewall any investigation by failing to keep me advised of what is happening. We exchanged emails at first, and I have kept the voice mails you left, but lately, there has been no response to my emails or to a phone message I left for you, so I’m in the dark as to what may be going on. This should not happen whether I am Mark Shaw the former lawyer and current author or Mark Doe just as Dorothy deserves an investigation whether she was the celebrated media icon Dorothy Kilgallen or Dorothy Doe.
To help with the investigation, I have copied my initial email to you on my website (www.markshawbooks.com ) so that hopefully folks who read that communication between us will contact me with any new facts about Dorothy’s case which has happened in the past. As you’ll see below, I also let our 3500 strong newsletter support group know about your investigation and the email stream.
This all said, Dorothy’s case can be a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to show your investigation skills and by doing so, provide the justice this remarkable woman deserves, justice denied to her in 1965. If you want to know more about her, check out www.thedorothykilgallenstory.org.
Over the next few months, I will be promoting “Collateral Damage” throughout radio, TV and podcasts beginning Thursday with “Coast to Coast with George Noory,” a radio program that airs in NYC from 1 to 4 am and reaches a million people throughout the world each night. I’ve already taped podcast interviews with bestselling authors Eric Metaxas and Gianni Russo that will air this week and next and I’ll be appearing on the popular “Cats Roundtable” radio program on June 6. In case you don’t know, the host of that show is John Casatamedias, who owns WABC, and is huge supporter of mine regarding justice for Dorothy and of your police department. Perhaps he will recognize your name when I mention it.
As is the case with posting my email to you, I will be mentioning your being in charge of Dorothy’s investigation and encouraging people to contact you with new evidence during all media appearances. Meanwhile, I’ll be hoping to hear from you with updates on your probe so I can let the audiences know the status.
Sergeant Detective, we both know based on the evidence I provided that Dorothy was a victim of a homicide, and we both know that Ron Pataky was complicit in her death based on the mountains of evidence I’ve provided including the incriminating poems and the source I mentioned proving he set her up for the kill. He needs to be interviewed sooner than later and by doing so, you have a chance to break this case, be a champion for her, not let Pataky get away with murder. The end result: you can permit thousands upon thousands of people know the truth about what happened to this remarkable woman whose reputation was tainted by untruths about her at the time.. That is the legacy I trust you will choose and again, I will cooperate any way I may including paying a visit to you in NYC.
So as to make certain you receive this communication, I will mail it to you while copying Commissioner Shea on this email and the previous email stream so he is aware of the investigation.
Mark Shaw
P. S. In case you may feel I am only being a paladin for Dorothy so as to sell books, I assure you that is not the case. From the moment I became a public defender, I have always been all about justice and when it is denied, fought hard as I previous told you, because “The dead cannot cry out for justice. It is the duty of the living to do so.”

Letter to LA County District Attorney George Gascon Demanding Re-Investigation of Marilyn Monroe Death
Based on the shocking new evidence in my latest book, “Collateral Damage: The Mysterious Deaths of Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Kilgallen and the Ties that Bind them to Robert Kennedy and the JFK Assassination, I sent a letter and an “Evidence Report” to LA DA George Gascon since my new evidence proves that Marilyn did not commit suicide in 1962 but was murdered by operatives of RFK. Why – because she was going to expose her love affairs with RFK and JFK as well as matters of national security the two men shared with her including JFK’s intent to order the death of Fidel Castro. See what you think of the letter and if you agree with my facts and conclusions, please contact the DA’s office.

Dear Mr. Gascón,
On the very date that would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 95th birthday (June 1), I am strongly requesting that your office re-open the investigation into her tragic death on August 4, 1962. My demand is based on compelling new primary source evidence compiled based on fifteen years of research for my latest book, “Collateral Damage: The Mysterious Deaths of Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Kilgallen and the Ties That Bind them to Robert Kennedy and the JFK Assassination” published today as well (book enclosed).

Letter to Texas Commissioner of Education Regarding Distortions of History at the Sixth Museum at Dealey Plaza
In my continuing effort to draw attention from educators in Texas including those Superintendents of Schools in the major cities to the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza poisoning the minds of teachers and students with distortions of history about the JFK assassination, I sent a letter along with my latest book, “Collateral Damage” to Mike Morath, the Texas Commissioner of Education. This is the second time I have done so. If you agree with the facts and conclusions in the letter, please contact Morath’s office and demand changes at the museum to reflect the true events that took place in 1963 or that, best of all, the museum be closed.
Here is the letter:
June 29, 2021
Mr. Mike Morath
Commissioner of Education
Texas Education Agency
1701 N. Congress Avenue
Austin, Texas, 78701
Re: The 6th Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza and Distortions of History Affecting Teachers and Students of All Ages
Dear Mr. Morath,
On August 20, 2020, I sent a letter to you regarding my extensive concerns about the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza distorting history on a daily basis regarding all aspects of the JFK assassination. To date, I have not received a reply.
Based on my latest book, “Collateral Damage,” (included for your reference), the fifth touching on the assassinations adding to my reputation as the foremost expert on what happened in Dallas in November, 1963, I am once again contacting you while copying all those I believe should know about the museum’s failure to update their exhibits and programs, provide a bookstore stocked with books other than those focused on the bogus “Oswald Alone” theory, or close their doors. You, and others in the education community, must protect teachers and students from the museum’s continuing effort to keep that theory alive so that the museum remains relevant and millions of dollars pour into the museum’s coffers.
Below is the excerpt I included in the “Collateral Damage” Epilogue regarding what I call “The Wall of Shame,” those who continue to distort history including authors and other so-called assassination experts despite the knowledge that they are doing so. This is certainly the case with the museum’s board of directors at the Dallas Historical Society and those who run the day-to-day operation, CEO Nicola Langford, Curator Stephen Fagin, and Curator of Collections Lindsey Richardson. (These allegations were fully explained in my August 20, 2020 letter to you.)
While it is important that students and teachers in Texas are provided with all points of view regarding any matters of history including the assassination, deliberately distorting that truth while permitting visitors to believe that the “Oswald Alone” theory is the only truth cannot continue especially when, to date, more than 85% of the American people believe that theory is nonsense as proven in all of my books including the new one and many others. When I visited the museum in 2019, I was abhorred, as noted in the new book, with the outdated condition of the exhibits, some more than five years old, and the programs that the museum sells to schools which have absolutely no ring of credibility to them. In addition, the bookshop stocks only “Oswald Alone” books providing what can only be called a museum that is a shrine to this evil man who was, for certain, only a secondary player in what I, and other experts, have proven was a plot to kill JFK in order to render his brother Robert powerless, which is just exactly what happened.
Despite my pleas and those of others, the powers-that-be have turned the museum into a merchandizing enterprise and cash cow by utilizing what they call a “tribute to the president” as the museum’s calling card when it is nothing of the sort amounting to false advertising. To that end, the museum sends out periodic “dispatches” to its extensive email list promoting “specials” on JFK merchandize while soliciting donations under false pretenses.
During a recent interview on WLIF radio in Dallas with Ernie Brown, I mentioned the distortions of history at the museum. Mr. Brown concurred and the said, “Besides, the museum is boring,” his indication that there is nothing of any accurate historical value in the exhibits, etc. On July 8, I will be appearing at the Allen Library for the third time regarding “Collateral Damage,” and part of my presentation will once again be to let the world know that the museum is an embarrassment to Dallas, a continuing reminder of the death of a president, a stain on the city which must be wiped away for good. Hopefully civic leaders there will take action and force the museum to update the exhibits and alter its program so that Dallas may lose is reputation as “the city that hates,” which is connected to the absurd idea that Oswald acted alone.
What am I asking you to do? Before the fall when schools are back in session, please assign one of your educational experts to visit the museum and to ask the tough questions including why those in charge continue to pound the drum for the “Oswald Alone” theory and deceive, yes, deceive, those students and teachers who visit, as well as the public, with outdated and false information about the assassination. If you do this, and use your authority to put pressure on those in charge to either make the required changes to all aspects of the museum, they may finally do the right thing and stop distorting history.
In my copy of this letter to Stephen Fagin, etc., I am once again requesting, as I have done before, to donate my collection of books about the assassination, including “Collateral Damage” to the museum with the request that they stock these books as well as those by others of note, in the bookstore. I am also asking to speak there so that I may present the most up to date information about the assassination including my proving once again that there was a plot to kill JFK as indicated in the Ruby trial transcripts, the most accurate account of what happened in 1963, which the museum deliberately hides from view..
While not being a citizen of Texas, I have deep love for education and the truth. As I told you in my previous letter:
Further evidence of my credibility has recently been the result of an honor bestowed upon me by a major university requesting to be the archival repository for all of my books, including Collateral Damage, the new one to be published in 2021, research books, manuscripts, notes, papers, USA Today articles, ABC, CBS, ESPN, and CNN television appearances, and presentation videos, photos, etc. One of the intentions is to make students and teachers across the country aware of the educational benefits regarding the five books I have written touching on the assassinations and provide lesson plans for further study. If there is interest on your part in participating in this program, please let me know.
The “major university” is my alma mater, Purdue, and in October of last year, those in the archival department requested to house my body of work as described above. For your interest, here are the links to the press release and the Purdue collection page where my “Papers” will be alongside those of Amelia Earhart and Neil Armstrong. What an honor for sure and certainly my two letters to you will be part of the collection. https://tinyurl.com/yyth7afp and https://archives.lib.purdue.edu/repositories/2/resources/1620
Commissioner Morath, the future of students in Texas is in your hands. That is quite a responsibility, one that requires that you weed out untruths and distortions of history so that these students learn what really happened in Dallas in 1963. At the very least, after your office’s investigation which will prove the allegations I have noted, it will be your duty of warn school administrators and teachers to not permit their students to be brainwashed with false information about one of the most important events in history, one very sad in nature for sure.
As a bestselling author and historian, I will continue to alert anyone who will listen through my books, interviews and presentations. There are, to date, more than 2.5 million YouTube views of the interviews and presentations including 60,000 in less than three weeks for an interview about “Collateral Damage” at the prestigious Commonwealth Club of San Francisco on June10. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lc2jGQFjVFs. The Allen Library presentation will also be uploaded to YouTube with my once again exposing the museum’s distortions of history and my attempts to persuade you to take action.
Thank you for the consideration. Please provide me with the courtesy of a response.

You Tube Views for Commonwealth Club of San Francisco Hits 100,000 in Less than a Month
A special thank you to all of you who have written to me with appreciation for my latest book, “Collateral Damage.” And for telling others about the book which is my contribution to history. Some don’t agree with my research conclusions regarding the life and times and the deaths of Marilyn Monroe, JFK and Dorothy Kilgallen and that is okay but as always, my writings are intended to cause people to stop and think about important historical issues. Because of the loyal support, as of this morning, today the total number of YouTube views for my interview at the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco on June 10, reached, based on both the edited and non-edited versions, 100,000 in just over a month. Simply amazing and beyond my wildest expectations for a book that is as thick as the NYC telephone directory. Here is the link to the edited version.

Two New Books and a Documentary Released – Distortions of History Abound
Within the last month or so, the books, “Kennedy’s Avenger:Assassination, Conspiracy and the Forgotten Trials of Jack Ruby” by Dan Abrams and David Fisher, and “Bombshell: The Night Bobby Kennedy Killed Marilyn Monroe,” and the documentary, “JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass” by Oliver Stone have hit the headlines. Each is packed with distortions of history and thus I am issuing a warning, be quite careful either reading the books or watching the documentary or even worse, recommending the books or the documentary to others.
Regarding Stone’s doc, one should know that every major “network” and doc distributor in the USA turned it down, including Netflix, HBO, Amazon, etc. Why because when their experts did a fact check, Stone’s research was rejected as being way below any standards for accuracy. This is no surprise, since his film “:JFK” was also very flawed. One example of this one following suit: no one with any interest in the truth can completely ignore Dorothy Kilgallen’s research, or the Jack Ruby transcripts as Stone does. Instead, he continually focuses on the ludicrous “Oswald Alone” theory or speculation that the CIA was involved in JFK’s death through Allen Dulles, both of which are contrary to the facts as presented in three of my books about the assassination after 15 years of research including the latest, “Collateral Damage.”
Regarding Abrams and Fisher’s book, the bible for what happened at the Ruby trial, as presented in my books, “Denial of Justice” and now “Collateral Damage,” is the 2000 pages of the trial transcripts. Yet, these authors ignore that testimony by doing what many of the so-called assassination “experts” do, arrive at a conclusion that will spur big time headlines and then fit the facts there instead of the other way around. In this case, they do mention Kilgallen but only on two pages regarding her interviewing Ruby at trial. That they quote from my books about her is an embarrassment to me.
Concerning “Bombshell,” once again Marilyn’s story is distorted to the extent that the facts about her life and times are ages old and based purely on speculation not primary sources. Supposedly this LA cop discovered a little known file in the police archives and so the book is based on what was in those files when the truth is that the files were flawed since they contain information very suspect for sure. And, the conclusion that RFK actually poisoned Marilyn himself is absurd, one because a coward like him, as I noted in “Collateral Damage” would never had had the guts to do so, and two, the author suggesting that Peter Lawford, a disgrace as an actor, a husband, and one who never knew the truth from fiction, actually witnessed RFK’s poisoning of Marilyn, and then confessed that he saw this happene, is pure fantasy and so misleading especially regarding having supposedly been raped a week before she died, another outrageous lie.
Here, once again, in two books and one doc, Dorothy is maligned by not being provided the respect she deserves, and re Marilyn, she is disrespected as well in “Bombshell” thus causing both women’s reputations to be tarnished. Shame on the two authors and on Stone, the books should be thrown in the trash and the doc destroyed before it poisons the minds of those who want to know the truth about the JFK assassination
