Loren Had More to Say – Something About Loren Extended Out January 15th

I know you’ve heard me say this before, but some characters are just louder than others. Each one of them is different, but some characters just keep chattering and want to tell me everything from what they had for breakfast to what they want to do next year. Loren was one of the chatty kinds.

For me, one of the hardest things about writing is keeping anything short. The original novella of Something About Loren that went in the Dirty Daddy anthology drove me crazy because I kept having to decide what they needed to do and what Loren couldn’t ramble on about.

Thanks to some unexpected time off over the holidays I had tons of time to write. One of the things that I played with was the idea of incest taboo. What would make two brothers fall in love when they knew no one would understand?
