“Lynn Mclaughlin’s memoir serves not only as the brave tale of one woman and her family coming together to fight a devastating illness, but also as a positive guide beautifully detailing how to put faith in your medical team, maintain a positive mindset, and how the love, courage, and support of your family can overcome even what seems like insurmountable odds! Lynn Mclaughlin has brilliantly weaved her story into an engaging, heartfelt narrative that transports us, beloved readers, into the pages.  I was amazed by how they all came together under the united banner of her diagnosis, each playing a vital, crucial role in her coping and healing.”

December 28, 2018

As we countdown to the new year, I celebrate all that I can for 2018. My list is long, but here are the top TEN (in no order of priority):

I hope that each of you is able to celebrate all that is good in your life.

My health has never been better.  I am over five years post craniotomy with no sign of tumour recurrence.
My children are now young adults – caring people with strong morals and values. I love them to the moon and back.
My family continues to be the most important thing to me – each and every day.
Our daughter has struggled with anxiety and the effects it has had on her life. She is a remarkable young woman who is becoming a role model for others, as difficult as that is. We are so proud of her.
My friends are second to none…people who always put others first and know how to have fun
