of
To Kill a Fae (Hollowcliff Detectives, #1):
"This was such an enjoyable magical mystery read! The main character is a lone siren disguising as a human in a world full of magical creatures. As a detective she’s forced to partner with a handsome fae on solving a murder. Her own banter with her si"

To Kill a Fae (Hollowcliff Detectives, #1):
"I did actually really enjoy this. The snark and the banter between the characters were entertaining throughout the story.
Bash did come across as a White "moon" haired version of Rhysand but I was not mad about it. I wish there was some sexy time thou" Read more of this review » |

Piracy sucks. It really does. I LOVE that this book has so many reviews, but the thing is, the number of reviews isn't matching with the number of sales/page reads both historically and on a monthly basis. I appreciate everyone who's left a review, I ...more |

Let’s see if I can write about something other than my heart.
This is a tough one. Do you remember the battle scenes of War and Peace or do you remember all the love interests? It’s the latter for me. I think literature works best when it delves into the sadness and joy of the personal and projects it against the background of the public or the historical. Surviving a dystopian future is hard, but surviving it without someone to love is impossible.

Remember this, Lenny; develop a sense of nostalgia for something, or you’ll never figure out what’s important.
As someone who left the country of his birth (the USSR) as a young boy, I am always nostalgic for something, without quite knowing what. I live blocks away from the high school that both I and Lenny Abramov attended, and every time I pass its front entrance I am filled with a flood of pleasant nostalgia. And yet, like most high schools, it wasn’t a particularly pleasant place overall. Friendship, along with romantic love, is one of the themes of this book, but it wasn’t until the pandemic year of 2020 when I began to reevaluate the utility of nostalgia, which led me to write Our Country
