New Shadojak review

Hi guys, I’ve had a new 5 star review for Shadojak.

‘Just finished Shadojak the second book of A.C. Salters trilogy what an amazing story. The events unfold revealing some great twists and new characters are introduced adding to the already impressive roster of characters. I can’t recommend these books enough and I can’t wait to read the next one and continue the journey which has had me gripped from the very first page.‘

Thank you for the great review, Elizabeth.

Ethea progress

Hiya guys

Chapter 19 of Ethea was finished yesterday – not long before the trilogy will be completed.

Jane, Dylan and I have been for a lovely meal at the Weighbridge in Nailsworth, with Paul Manning (the man who designed my covers) and his wife Vicky. We had a great afternoon catching up.

The first printed copies of Eversong will be arriving in less than two weeks – 1500 books.                           cover-72

VERY EXCITED!

Another 5 star review

Hiya guys

I’ve had a great review from a reader in Cape Town.

‘The cover drew me in first! There’s something mesmerising about the cover, and then the title got my attention. Eversong. What is the ‘eversong’ I asked myself … and started reading. I really don’t want to spoil this for you by launching into a synopsis of the tale, but allow me to say this: the Eversong is all-important to saving not only one, but two, civilisations! And the song resides in Elora! All is not what it seems, though, and it is for very good reason that Elora is warned from a young age to never sing.

Enter the Shadojak and his Shaigun, assassins with a noble mission. One falls for Elora and the consequences will reach across realms. Add in a few strange creatures both adorable and particularly nasty and I know you want to read this now!

Despite a typo here and there, I am giving Eversong 5 stars. Great cover, great title, huge imagination, a fantastic tale!‘

Thank you

Rosary school – Stroud

Thank you to all the pupils and staff at the Rosary school in Stroud. They made both Zalibeth and I feel welcome as we delivered a lecture about the use of imagination. They helped and contributed to the ‘Mysterious Door’, story and supplied some amazing ideas.

Eversong is currently being printed and we should receive the delivery of the first copies in early December.

Shadojak has another great 5 star review – ‘Was really looking forward to the second instalment and this definitely lived up to expectations! This book seamlessly follows on the great story but with lots more action and some great twists and turns including some very clever writing by the author! Now can’t wait for the final part and to see where the story will end up!‘

Thank you Callisto9992

I’ve finished chapter 16 of Ethea and will hopefully have the first draft finished for early next year.

Thanks guys

New American review

It’s not often that I get a review from the America, but as Jane logged onto Amazon.com  she found a new 5 star review:

‘A fabulous book with great, diverse characters. Absolutely loved this narrative. The characters were well developed and believable. The story had enough twists and turns to keep you turning the pages. There were many edge of your seat moments and great action scenes. This narrative was well written with intertwining plots. I love mythology so I found the incorporation of myths within this book fantastic. I also loved the descriptive writing; it was if you were there taking part in it all. The different worlds and creatures were also very imaginitive. Congratulations to the author, I look forward to reading the next book in the series.’

Thank you, Renee

Dim Reaper

Hiya guys

I’ve had a great 5 star review for Eversong from the Dim Reaper himself –

‘Just finished reading this book and what can I say absolutely brilliant. Even though the events that unfold are set in a world of fantasy and magic the author still manages to keep everything grounded in a familiar reality. The characters are great and you get a real sense of who they are due to the care taken to develop them. I cannot recommend this story enough, Iv already purchased the second and can’t wait to dive in and see how the events unfold!‘

Thank you Mr Reaper
