I love #saskatoonpubliclibrary . Today we went to the Alice Turner branch, read books, made a mess, talked to nice people, played puzzles, tidied up (ish), brought home free books, just wonderful. And we saw this … a #writingprompt or just #wisewords depending on if you feel like writing today…

Going to the beach when I had four kids under the age of six, and going to the beach just three years later is SO different. True, I haven’t yet sat down for more than five mins, and I haven’t read any of the magazines I brought, but it is so much more relaxing now than it was! #beach #funwithkids #longweekend

Thinking about this today as I watch Andrew Stanton’s #TED talk on storytelling. He has been involved in the writing of movies the WALL.E and this idea of making the audience care is playing in my mind. Hopefully I’ll see some of you at our #canscaip conference here in Saskatoon on May 26th and we can talk about this more together.
