The other day, my sister shared a legend that I had never heard...
The other day, my sister shared a legend that I had never heard of, but it instantly captivated me.
She said, “You have the face of the person you loved in your previous life.”
And the more I imagined it, the more I began to see my own face in a different light. I’m going to be honest for a moment and admit that I sometimes (okay, more often than not) find every flaw in my exterior, despite the fact that I long to be secure and confident in who I am. And I often hide behind my hair, as if it were a shield. But when I think of this legend, it says that my face was beloved to me in another time and life. And when I think of the people I love now, their faces are the most beautiful things in the world to me. So why shouldn’t I see that same beauty in my own?
