✨ Spotlighting some of my favorite Australian authors today! ✨...

✨ Spotlighting some of my favorite Australian authors today! ✨ All of these books have captured a little piece of my heart. Some have even made me ugly cry (*cough Jellico Road and The Book Thief* cough). ✨ Alison Croggon and Melina Marchetta have been incredible influences in my writing, and I reread their books every year. Whenever I find a fellow Lumatere and/or Pellinor fan, I feel like I find a kindred spirit. ✨ I love the heart pounding adventure of an Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff novel. They are seriously goals. ✨ Garth Nix’s Sabriel was one of the first fantasy books I was drawn to as a teen. ✨ I love the eldritch, spine tingling prose of Margo Lanagan. Her stories always linger with me. ✨ And I still get teary eyed when I think of Marcus Zusak’s The Book Thief. ✨So if you’re looking to support some Aussie authors, these are a few of my recommendations. Do you see any of your favorites?
