HypLern Online
Many of you have been asking for the old pop-up version of the material or new material in pop-up format.
Now you can get all our published books and more on hyplern.com#popup! By default the site shows all books in interlinear format, but it's easy to set pop-up view, OR just link to it using #popup hashtag at the end of the url.
On the site it's easy to see which books are for beginners, and for more advanced readers. You can also view the books with the same covers as they have here in the shop or on Amazon, in case you're using the Kindle or paperback for reading, and the site for practice.
Flash Card or Multiple Choice
That's right! You read that correctly. You can use the site for vocabulary practice. If you used your Kindle or paperback version to read and re-read the material, but want to learn those pesky difficult words, you can use the site to just click them and add them into your wordlist, and then practice them using flash cards or multiple choice.
For example, read the book in interlinear or pop-up format online, and each time you don't know a word, you click it. If you are in interlinear view mode, you'll see that the words you clicked are marked red. Now that I mention it, I should probably add that same feature to the pop-up view :)
Then in your wordlist, or on your dashboard, if you have more than ten clicked words, you can press the test icon and boom, you're off to your flashcard or multiple choice practice, whatever suits you better.

I can finally announce that after Danish, we are now getting audio for all the Dutch books!

Find free audio for our German interlinear books
You can find free audio for almost all of our books on the internet, on sites like litteratureaudio.com and Librivox. They have works from classic authors like Kafka or Theodor Storm.
For your ease we compiled the free audio and offer them for free on our site as well. Check out all the mp3s now under the German collection, click the link above.
We will add more soon. If you support us with a membership we can create more custom audio for all of our books.

French Interlinear Books
If you're learning a language, the most important part is acquiring a large vocabulary. The only way to get a large vocabulary fast is by reading books. Hence for every language you can find graded readers.
However, graded readers only feed you new words every so often. That's because there is a limit to people's capabilities of understanding obtuse foreign texts. If a beginner language learner just grabs any book, he'll have to look up words in a dictionary so often that the reading becomes a huge chore.
Not so with interlinear texts. With interlinear books there is a translation under every word. If there is double line interlinear there even will be idiomatic explanations of difficult sentences.
Sounds handy, is there anything available in French?
Interlinear books in FrenchThere is a ton of material out there to learn French. However, all courses only teach you a limited amount of vocabulary. Yes you can go out there and communicate, but that will only buy you a small percentage of all the words that are used in French, and also at a slow rate. If you want to master a large French vocabulary, read books. If you don't want to have to look up words in a dictionary all the time, read interlinear paperbacks or ebooks.
We collected a series of links for French interlinear books, depending on the format. For example, some people still swear by paperback or hardcover, while others have their personal library on an ereader device.
PaperbacksIf you're looking for paperbacks, and don't mean to print them yourself, then there's only one spot to find them directly, Amazon.
However, if you don't want to fill the pockets of fat cat corporations, you can also just look up the isbn number of the book you want there, and then order at your local bookstore.
Also, other online stores have French interlinear paperbacks as well, for example Barnes & Noble The same goes for any online bookstore.
EbooksIf you don't want to pay more for a paper version or you're just more into zero weight unlimited books, you can get ebook versions of French interlinear books instead.
For example, there is of course Google Play books, if you're ok with a fixed format version (pdf).
Now however, there's also flowing format for the Kindle, again to be found on Amazon.
