looking out the window,
droplets of rain and wind,
hitting down my window pane,
It’s cold, I said…
will you wrap your arms around me,
yes, my love, while blowing warm breath on my ear…

Are you warm, he asked…
hmmmm, with my eyes closed, I said.

I looked around, he wasn’t there!
Alone with my thoughts, I was,
