Book Updates
I’m excited to write that I have started on a new series. No, it doesn’t have zombies, but it is post apocalyptic. I’m going to add a little preview below. Southern Zombies 5 is coming along. I have 8 chapters so far. I hope to have it finished by the end of July.
Southern Zombies 4 and the Fynn Young series is moving right along for audio production thanks to Mandy Mahan (Southern Zombies) and Mandy Goolsby (Fynn Young).
Remember, Summer of Zombie Blog Tour starts on June 1!!! Come and share in the stench of the shambling undead with us. There are a lot of great authors participating. https://www.facebook.com/events/171495576570081/
Prologue from Crimson Plague – Ann Riley
My name is Saffyre Bleau. I live in a world that has been torn apart by plague. We called it the Crimson Cough because blood would be expelled by the infected ones when they coughed. The medical name would have lain somewhere between the pneumonic and septicemic plagues. We were never able to know for certain since it struck so quickly. There are little or no medical personnel left due to the overcrowding of medical facilities when the epidemic hit. Whole hospitals were wiped out by this plague. It was an epidemic we didn’t know how to treat early enough to prevent the deaths of most of the population.
I have been chosen for rebuilding a world that is fair. A world that can flourish under the correct leadership and guidance.
I have been chosen to start our world on the path of following the seven virtues and adhering to those guidelines as a population in order to build our world around the values that was expected when the world was created.
Why me, you may ask? I don’t know. I’m no one special. I live and try to survive like everyone does. I’m sure there are many people who would fit this task better than me. But I am the one for this task, or so I have been told.
It’s not going to be an easy. I know there will be obstacles along the way. I will have guidance in this endeavor from people in our community. I will not be alone.
Come with me as I tell my story and start on my journey to rebuilding the world.

Southern Zombies
Wow. 1480 words done on SZ 5 tonight. 984 words on the “No Name yet” book I am working on, and I started a prologue for the fourth Fynn Young book. Summer of Zombie Blog Tour is almost here, Fynn Young Three Book set and SZ 4 is in audio production right now, and I still have no idea on the title of my new series.

Books, books, books!

Southern Zombies 4: Southern Revenge is coming to audio in June, narrated by Mandy Mahan. I also have The Fynn Young series three book set being produced for audio by Amanda Goolsby, which should be finished in July.
I am working on SZ 5 now and also have a new series coming that I have yet to think of a name for. I will post some of the details on that series when I get a few more chapters completed.
