Video: Porcelain Travels LIVE!

It’s taken me a few months, but I have finally edited and published the video from the one-man show I did based on my book, Porcelain Travels. The show was part of San Francisco's Marsh theater's Monday Night Marsh, a program spotlighting works-in-progress of emerging solo performers. Check it out!

"A truly hysterical book..."

Excited and honored to receive a five-star review of Porcelain Travels by Readers’ Favorite!

Reviewer Lesley Jones notes that “Porcelain Travels by Matthew Felix is a truly hysterical book from the outset. … I did want to empathize with (Matthew’s) plight but I was too busy laughing to do so. … I absolutely adored his writing style; he describes situations and the emotions he felt so vividly. I highly recommend this book…”

Excited and honored for an excerpt of my novel, A Voice Beyond Reason, to be included in the Creative Process Exhibition, launched at the Sorbonne and traveling to forty leading universities around the world. An excerpt from the novel deemed particularly evocative of a sense of place was chose for the exhibition.

Given her disgust at my little Parisian studio, it’s ironic - and problematic - when my visitor contributes to its demise.

Such a great time at LitWings Paris! Inspiring presenters, a great venue, and lots of new connections.

Thank you again and again organizer and host Erin Byrne, as well as to la Caféothèque for giving us such a warm welcome. And, thanks, too, to my fellow presenters Lone Mørch, Ernest White II, Tony Alberto Rigettini, and Mia Funk.

A night to be remembered!
