Jesus’ Job for Me?
Does Jesus have a job for you? I think He has a job for me. I think He has a job for each of us. There are a couple of stories in Luke chapter six, where Jesus is having struggles with the leaders of the Jewish nation who are critical of Him because He continues to do things on the Sabbath.

Who Is Follower of One For?
In Acts 1:8 Jesus says, you will be my witnesses. I don't think that's a command as much as it is a statement of fact. What we do will be seen by the people around us and when we live like we're following Jesus, we become leaders because we influence people through our actions. In Matthew 28, you've heard of the great commission, Jesus begins the great commission with the phrase go therefore and make disciples. That word translated Go can also mean as you go or as you're going. It means everywhere that we go, our action should be making disciples.

What is a Marketplace Mission Trip? I'm sure you've heard about people going on a Mission Trip before. But, when you think of going on a Mission Trip I'm sure you think of things like having to pack, taking off work, getting a passport, and then having to get on a plane and flying to some far off country? What if this isn't in the cards for you or at least right now isn't the best time for you to leave your family or take off work… don't you think Jesus still wants you to share Him with others?

Culture vs. Faith: Are We Caught In Our Own Trap?
Lately, I’m convicted by the ways I amuse myself. Do I spend more of my time immersed in our culture or walking with God by faith? Amusement is something we take for granted in the United States in the 21st Century. We all watch TV, movies, and videos quite regularly. On the table in our dining room, I have a 1000 piece puzzle that I can spend quite a bit of time on. We spend time on social media and listening to music.

The Work of Service
When you serve your coworkers, customers or vendors, because you follow Jesus, your faith becomes visible. You show the world you trust Jesus. Others who follow Jesus will be encouraged. And those who don’t follow Jesus may begin. Both outcomes build up the body.
