From Fantasy Forests To Dystopian Cities!
The Gifted Series has been rebranded! It is now called The RITA Series and the first novel has been renamed RITA (formerly The Gift Stone). All three books now have new covers and new formatting. I love how they turned out!P.S. For those who have read The Gift Stone and know this series, please consider leaving a review under the second edition (now titled RITA), on Amazon or Goodreads. I really appreciate all those who have supported my career, read my novels, and come out to author events!
I had a lot of fun filming promotional material for The RITA Series over the May Long Weekend 
We got some amazing photos! The locations were perfect and it was even snowing at one location, which was perfect for RITA, because it was also snowing in the novel when Rita and Takano Rynn came fact-to-face for the first time, on Rita’s home planet of Kahnju. A Fort Steele Christmas Book Release
I started writing A Fort Steele Christmas in 2019, then things slowed down over the pandemic years, as it did for many people.
I was no longer doing any author events or attending writing conventions. I also wasn’t writing a lot.
As businesses and events slowly opened up again, I found my inspiration to continue this journey of editing this Christmas novel and I’m now excited to announce that A Fort Steele Christmas is published and Available in paperback and ebook formats!
One of the fun parts of having a new book release is coming up with creative ways to advertise it! I’ve done the reels and Instagram posts, but something I thought would be fun, was to share the original footage of when I stayed at Fort Steele heritage town overnight, off-season, at their newly renovated Windsor Hotel in 2019! That trip inspired the entire novel!
My sister and I stopped to Fort Steele last year in the cold of winter, for me to ‘take some footage’ of the town for future posts, once the novel was finished. At that time, the Fort Steele gift shop (pictured below) was still in existence. A few months later there was a fire and it burned down!
So now, when you read about Eden and her BFF Macy having lunch at the gift shop café, you won’t be able to visit the real location anymore, if you go to Fort Steele 
But you can definitely visit the town and the Windsor Hotel! In fact, you can stay the night there! I am definitely going to be visiting the heritage town again soon.

The Wait is Finally Over!
After much hard work, the third book of the Gifted Series is finally available! This was one of my hardest books to write, rewrite, edit and everything in between. And yet it reads quick! Haha. I’m interested to see how readers react to this one. It is a bit unconventional, for my writing at least ^_^

The Final Stages of Book Three!
Preparing Book Three of the Gifted Series, the Prequel, has been the slowest processes I’ve experienced yet in my career! Now, in the last week of August, I’m going through the final edits to the proof book.

I will post a cover reveal soon. The book will be published with a new title, ‘The Rise of Rynn’ which hopefully won’t confuse readers who will be looking for book three under the previous title, ‘You Should Be Scared of Me.’
The Rise of Rynn should be available in time for the Lethbridge Public Library’s annual event ‘Word On The Street,’ Sept. 20th, 2019.

Time and Venue Change for Takano Rynn Book Launch
Hello everyone,
There has been a change in venue and time for the Takano Rynn Book Launch. The event will start at 6:30 PM, instead of 7 PM and the location will be the Lethbridge Public Library’s Crossings Branch, which is located on the West Side of Lethbridge, as the main branch downtown is still under construction and will not be ready in time for the local author’s event.
We’ve just been made aware that news media may be present during this time! This is a great event to come and support local authors with the Lethbridge Public Library. I will have books for sale (cash only) and a special event price of $15 a book, or both books One and Two of the Gifted Series for only $20!

Let’s get you introduced to everyone, shall we? Tell us your name and a little about yourself (ie, your education, family, life, etc.)
My Name is Bianca Rowena and I’m from Canada. I live in Southern Alberta with my husband and daughter and our doggie Molli. I graduated from Film Studies at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, majoring in Writing/Producing/Directing.
Fiona: Where are you from?
I was born in Transylvania, Romania. We came to Canada when there was still communism in Romania. I don’t remember life in Romania because I was only five years old when we came over, but I did grow up in a culturally different family and my parents worked hard to support us.

The Star Wars Fanfiction has begun!

I was quite impressed by the screenplay by Rion Johnson for the latest Star Wars movie. He had so many fans and fandoms to take into account when writing this script. Somehow he pulled it off and did an amazing job!
Now, as a fanfiction writer, it’s my turn to continue where the movie left off
