6 days until Meditations In Wonderland launches!

My little puppy nephew, Winston, and his sister Maisy already got their copy - they’re obviously a bit terrified by Alice’s dark complexities.

As promised, another tidbit from the book, as Elizabeth greets her reflection in her bathroom mirror:

“She saw the delicate skin under her eyes as an abyss of purple, twisted veins. The sight of her canvas of skin and sunken eyes caused her to furrow her brow, which only made the story lines on her face grow deeper. They began to look like trenches, and when Elizabeth tugged at them they fell back into place like obedient soldiers. As she stood there an acidic revulsion crawled through her, and made the hairs on the back of her neck stand at attention.

She looked away, and the goose bumps that dotted her neck subsided, leaving her body cold. She picked up her toothbrush and threw it at the sink, hard, as if she wanted it to fly down the drain and reappear in another dimension.”

To pre-order the book or learn more about Alice and what you’ll find in this dark re-telling, you can visit the Amazon page here.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek! Happy Wednesday,

Anna

MEDITATIONS IN WONDERLAND PUBLISHES ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!

In celebration, I’m posting a quote/short excerpt each night for 7 nights! I can’t wait for you all to meet Alice.

No, this isn’t rock bottom. I’ve been to rock bottom, and I’ll tell you something about it that no one ever talks about – down there it’s finally quiet.

…And when you were thinking earlier, ‘Oh, God. Why me?’ I would like to remind you that you wanted to come here. You came here yourself. You let yourself in.

And yes, the rumors are true. Everyone here is mad. Therefore, I’m mad, too.

Welcome to Wonderland – catch me if you can, bitch. -Alice”

To pre-order the book or learn more about Alice and what you’ll find in this dark re-telling, you can visit the Amazon page here.

I said this on Instagram earlier, but I’ve been so humbled by how much people love Alice even after 150 years. I’m honored to be a part of her legacy!

Happy reading,

Anna
