Traveling to your Destiny

Hi (or as my UK PA Sylv says), Hiya,

I have lots of free things on here for you but first, a word about traveling.

Did you know that if you travel out of the U.S. and need a new passport, you can get one with more pages for the same amount of money as the regular book? Of course, if you do little international travel, or just to Canada or Mexico from the U.S., they don’t stamp your passport and that’s not an issue. I made a trip to the U.K. a few years back, and only needed one stamp but I did get an extra one at the Isle of Anglesey but that was a choice. Not even a stamp in Ireland. (yes, I’m pouting) It’s been many years since I’ve lived in Europe but no stamps needed if we were driving through the borders. Only if flying in. (Yes, I know it takes less time, but it’s a memento, you know?”

The one place you won’t need your passport in or out is where new author

Tasha Winters’  book takes us. (although something cold to drink and a few free hours would be good)

So let’s go on a trip, shall we? A time travel trip… with shifting, reverse harem, secret societies… Let’s go… meet our destiny…
Captured Obedience

Today, she will meet her destiny

While attempting to escape a skinwalker bent on possessing her against her will, Maya runs into a forbidden cave. Instead of succumbing to her doom, she confronts her attacker and finds herself in a world so alien and dangerous, she prepares for a fate worse than death.

Crazed with fear, Maya fights unsuccessfully for her freedom until three powerful men rescue her from the cruel captors. Relieved, she soon discovers these men have their own expectations and methods to achieve the obedience they demand. She is now a captive of another kind, and at their insistence, she must complete her training as they claim her mind, body, heart, and soul.

Warning: This book has reverse harem, time travel, myths come to life, and more. Could this be thought as science fiction or simply a reality that has not yet been explored? You decide.

“That is enough of that, Miss Maya.”

Without another word, Paxton reached his hand around her waist, pulled her hard and tight against his belly and landed a handful of hard swats on her ass. She raised her soulful brown eyes to Pax’s hazel ones, reached her hand around to rub her ass and settled down immediately.

“That was the cutest damned thing I’ve ever seen. Did you see that, Sterling? That little minx responds as though she is used to being swatted. We need to take this one home.”

“We can’t just do that now that the guards have her. It doesn’t work that way.”

Pax rubbed the back of his neck in consternation. He wanted to scoop her up and take her home. The reason was insane. He wanted her. She stood between the two doctors like it was her natural spot, as though she belonged to them, believed they would protect her. Pax knew in that moment that he’d do anything to keep her safe. For whatever reason, she trusted them, and he was not going to let her down. It was in his nature to defend the weak and if anyone needed a champion right now, it was Maya.

“Pax, I want to take her home.”

Pax did too but playing devil’s advocate was what he did. “You what? She’s uncontrollable, wild. We have work to do.” He said all the expected things.

“She’s a challenge and we need a new one. She’ll fit right in. I know this is what we’re supposed to do. Our next chapter. Don’t you feel it?”

It wasn’t a request. Sterling was serious. While Paxton was the regional head of their Ambrose Society, Sterling was head of their steering committee on research. If Sterling wanted to go in that direction, no one would argue. Besides, it went hand in glove with Sterling’s research on assimilation, behavioral implants, and psychic connections. And then there was his new gift, a dream linking ability. The technology was there to do it and he’d helped to create it but to be able to do it personally, and then work with the one you linked with? Priceless.

“Paxton, we’re taking her home.”

“I figured. The uncontrollable ones always end up at the house, be they human or, with the advent of Zander, animal. Plants are never unruly and when they are, you prune them.”

“I’ve already claimed this one. She’s coming home with us. Now, please get the placement paperwork started while I go make the conversations happen.”

“I feel it too. Who gets custody of the hellion while all this is going on?”

“You have your meeting shortly, so I’ll take her with me for now. They won’t want to keep her after they see how aggressive she can get. It’s sneaky but it’ll work.”

“And if it doesn’t?”

“Simple. We kidnap her.”

Paxton groaned. “Of course.”

Excerpt

“I need to speak with Prince Giles,” she begged, her voice a needy whimper.

He landed a light slap on her behind. “Now, sweetness, I don’t want to hear another man’s name on your lips. Still, give me your oath and accept me as your overlord, and I may permit it. Once they’re back from their honeymoon.”

“Flaming arrogant wolf.” She kicked out in fury. “Just cut me loose and go chew on a bone or something.”

“Perhaps you need more time to consider, or maybe I should continue our game. Maybe a little pain will heighten your pleasure.”

He pulled a knife from nowhere and cut the rope above her wrists. She’d hoped he meant to set her free, but he tossed her facedown on the bed. He lay atop her—a solid wall of muscle that pinned her to the mattress and made her feel like the filling in a bed-meets-Lykae sandwich. As she wriggled and squirmed beneath him, her nipples sank into the mattress; then he spread-eagled her arms and bound them to the bedposts.

“My brother will have your pelt for this,” Sylvie snarled, “and I’ll wear it like a goddamn cloak.”

His teeth snapped shut with an audible clatter. “I guarantee you’ll wear me, sweetness, but you’ll learn to mind me first.”

He sat on the bed and slid his legs beneath her slender body. With infinite patience, he positioned her across his lap, then ran a gentle hand over her panties. Okay, her wolf-man liked it kinky, but as long as he let her come, she could live with that. Nervous, eager, and helpless, she ground her hips against him.

“Tempting me, sweetness? Sorry, but your power games don’t work on me.”

A sudden slap on her ass sent pain shooting though her and heightened her need. She couldn’t enjoy this, could she? He hurt and humiliated her, but her body thrashed with desire, and her hips gyrated over his dick. Another sharp slap made her shudder, but her pride came to her rescue, and she never made a sound. A third made her bite her tongue until blood filled her mouth. She held her breath and waited, but how could she want this? Somehow she’d escape him; then her brother would kill him and serve up his entrails on a plate.

“Don’t be stubborn, sweetness. Just ask me to stop.”

She tensed and said nothing. Four, five, and six left her butt bruised and hurting, but seven started a tingling heat that spread over her ass and into her pussy. She wanted to hate him, but eight had her moaning. Nine made her hips rotate and hunt for his prick, and ten… Oh God, ten was an avalanche of pain that pushed her to the edge of something momentous and huge.

“Damn it, Sylvie.” He stopped abruptly; then he rubbed his hand over her butt, soothing where he’d just spanked, “You drive me insane.”

Insane? She felt the madness inside him, and while she knew he wanted her body, she didn’t understand why she wanted him just as badly—not after the way he insulted and humiliated her. Sex. It had to come down to sex.

Author Bio

Kryssie Fortune writes the sort of hot sexy books she loves to read. If she can sneak a dragon into her paranormal books she will. Her paranormal heroes are muscular werewolves, arrogant Fae or BDSM loving dragons.

Kryssie likes her contemporary heroes ex-military and dominant. Her heroines are kick ass females who can hold their own against whatever life – or Kryssie – throws at them.

Kryssie’s pet hates are unhappy endings, and a series that end on a cliff hanger.

Her books are all stand alone even when part of series. Plot always comes before sex, but when her heroines and heroes get together, the sex is explosive and explicit. One review called it downright sensual.

It’s That Time of Year Again…

Hello!
It’s that time of the year when we change focus, again. Now we are in the last months of the year and we tend to review what our year goals were, stake stock in the realities and relevancy of those goals, and push forward, renewed in our determination to meet as many of our hopes and dreams as we can. Before the holidays if we are lucky but before the New Year, when we do a complete overhaul and start again.
If you are a well organized person, you have one year, five year and maybe even ten year goals. This has been a huge transition year for us. Retirement for hubby and career trials and errors for me. I intend on refocusing my writing goals.
I am nearly finished with the O’Connor Series. I might bring in a few novellas for holidays but Cian and Molly, nearly written, is the last unmarried sibling. The last book transitions to one of my new series, Safe and Secure, Saving Sharlee was the first in that series. Several other new series, Clearwater Ranch has two more books in the offing and Wind River Series needs revisiting.
So, am I where I want to be in September 2018? Not quite. But close. Next year is already in the planning. How about you? Are you finding time to refocus your goals and efforts to come in strong as the year closes? I hope so.
ALYSSA

Here is my spotlight book for the week:

Revenge in the Highlands

Eileen is driven by pain and betrayal, can a loving hand heal her broken heart?

Morgan MacAlister and his wife, Kat, return to the Highlands to reclaim Morgan’s heritage, only to find that the sister he left behind is waging a war of vengeance on their traitorous half-brother, Canton. Eileen is no longer the innocent young girl he remembers.

Gallagher Glencairn has returned with Morgan to reclaim his own inheritance and finds that the golden-haired lass with the beautiful haunted eyes now rules his clan. Gallagher is determined he’ll take his clan back any way he can. He gives Eileen two choices: she can agree to wed him, or he will wage war against her and take his inheritance back.

Eileen is tough on the outside but harbors a terrible secret within – a secret of pain, betrayal, and a fierce desire for revenge.

Publisher’s Note: This steamy historical romance, set in the Highlands, contains old-fashioned, loving discipline.

Yummy Excerpt: PG

When the sharp whistle pierced the air, Eileen was unprepared. With a snort, Minion reared up and whinnied then took off at an instant gallop, dragging Delilah with him. It was Minion who was leading now, and with the rope tied to Delilah’s saddle, Delilah automatically took off after him, following his lead like a subservient female. Eileen cursed as she grabbed the reins and tried to pull Delilah in, but the little mare was rebelling, not wanting to return to her control. It was only a matter of seconds before Minion came to a halt in front of the mocking Gallagher and Eileen was looking into the piercing eyes of her handsome new husband.

Let go of my horse,” she demanded as his hand reached out to take Delilah’s bridle. Her hand flew to the rope to release Minion but Gallagher reached up and grabbed her, tugging her from the saddle. Eileen screeched as she felt herself falling and she landed on his hard chest, her free hand scrabbling at his shoulder to control her fall. She felt his other arm grip her below her buttocks and hoist her on over his shoulder. He then slapped her protruding rear end several times, his hard hand burning through her riding skirt with a vengeance. She bucked straight up, kicking against his thighs uncontrollably as she cried out in pain. Let go of me, damn you,” she hissed through clenched teeth.

Gallagher simply carried her, struggling and kicking over to a large rock. He sat her on her feet and held onto her arm with one hand, while his other hand went to his belt. His silver eyes burning into hers, he deftly unsnapped the Glencairn crested buckle and drew the wide strap from its loops.

Eileen began to struggle in earnest, kicking out at him, trying to free her arm from his iron grasp. “Ye are not going to use that thing on me, I won’t allow it,” she demanded stridently, her face blanching at the grim determination on his. Her buttocks were already burning from the hard slaps he’d administered and she was close to panicking at the thought of that broad belt landing across her tender cheeks.

Ye are in no position to demand anything, wife, and ye are about to find out what happens when ye disobey my orders.” Grimly he sat and dragged her over his lap. Folding the long belt in half, he lifted his arm and brought it crashing down in the middle of her wriggling backside.

Meet Brandy Golden

I’m a sweet romance writer with some hanky spanky play added in. I like to write about strong alpha males who don’t mind taking their ladies in hand when they need it and who want to share the special bond that spanking can bring between a couple. My stories are mostly basic simple discipline in a romantic setting with very protective men. Cowboys, pirates, business suits, you name it, they are all sexy when they are dominant and I love to write their stories. I’ve been writing on and off for around fifteen years now and I still love it. You can find me in middle america, cowboy and ranching country, with my husband and a wonderful family of children and grandchildren around me. I hope you enjoy my adventures as much as I enjoy creating them for you. Brandy

PK Corey & Book 3 in Cal’s Law Series

Good Morning,

Well, home school started last Monday and it has taken a week before I think we are in a rhythm and schedule we can deal with.

Our youngest son is graduating before Christmas and then we will be down to one lone daughter. We are working on our “second” round of children of which there have been six . It has been a long haul for us (over 38 years of parenting), but one well worth the work and extension of our “active duty” parenting.

While I thought about that this week, watching as my husband takes his retirement and finds a livable balance with a new normal, I can see the many ways that we, as parents, friends, lovers, weave to avoid the obstacles and embrace the joys in life to ultimately create a lovely tapestry of our days, unique to ourselves.

My hope for you all, as we start into the final harvest of the year and the fall season, is that we remember to savor the spices of life. Find comfort in the challenges because we are weaving our life’s tapestry and we will look back fondly on those threads as each stage of life blends with another.

Enjoy the last dog days of summer. A new season will be here soon!

Now, need a Tuesday Tease? I have one… and a few recommendations…

Book 3 in Cal’s Law

Here’s a NIBBLE:

Jenny finds herself being stalked by a mysterious police officer who views every move she makes as criminal. Everyone she cares about knows that what ensues is not Jenny’s doing, but she can’t keep herself from giving in to some sweet revenge. Her plan starts out as a silly college girl prank, but soon lands her on the wrong side of Cal’s law.

NOW,  take a bite…

Cal loved that Jenny was honest with him, even when she knew it would get her in trouble. His mind flashed back to a time she had lied to him early in their relationship and the spanking had been significant. He’d used that incident to try to convince her that spanking could alter behavior. She’d disagreed with him, ‘It wasn’t the spanking that keeps me from lying to you–it was the fact that I felt like shit until I finally told you the truth. It wasn’t worth it,’ she’d insisted. And Cal had realized that her explanation him feel even better.

Cal brought his mind back to the present. He couldn’t ignore her being at a party where people were smoking. Because of his job, this was serious. It was why he’d made the rule. “You know you’re getting a spanking, don’t you?”

“Duh! I knew that about ten seconds into your phone call this morning. Can we just get it over with?”

Cal nodded and took her hand. He led her to the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed. Jenny stood before him. She could tell Cal wasn’t really mad. He just felt that there had to be a follow through. Her butterflies were more from a chance to be alone with her husband than from worrying about any spanking. She stood still as Cal lowered her shorts and panties.

Positioning her over his lap, he repeated his rule, “I don’t mind you going to the occasional party, you just have to leave if drugs come out. And I mean from pot to coke, anything.”

“I never go to any parties with anything worse than pot, and you know that,” Jenny told him emphatically.

“Good,” Cal responded as he positioned her across his lap. Jenny was grateful he was only using his hand and that he began with moderate swats. Her gratitude waned as his hand fell harder and faster.

“Shit, Cal. Not so hard!” she demanded.

The next two swats were harder still and landed on her thighs. “Son of a bitch! Stop,” Jenny shouted.

Cal paused to make sure Jenny could hear him. “You keep up the cussing and this could last a while. You made the decision to break the rules, you take the consequences. And I’m telling you, cussing during a spanking is never going to be a good idea.”

Meet PK Corey

After spending thirty-six years in two careers I liked just fine, I’ve finally found my dream career as a writer. I’ve been happily married for thirty-five-years and my sweet husband has gotten used to the unique experience of living with a writer. He is very encouraging and an excellent editor when he’s pressed into service.

I’ve been intrigued by spanking stories since before I first saw Ricky spank Lucy. Stories of this nature were hard to come by before the Internet and the ones I found were a little harsh on discipline and very much lacking in love. So, I made up my own stories and enjoyed these in my head for years. I finally began writing them down. Although the lovely women in my stories are spanked often, the love between them and their men takes top priority.

My Cassie’s Space series shows a mature couple who are deeply in love. Despite loving Cassie’s free-spirited ways, Tom is determined to keep her safe, even if it takes a trip over his knee. And with her friend Sue by her side and all they get into, a trip over his knee is very likely. My new series, Cal’s Law, is about a younger couple. Though they come from very different backgrounds, love and discipline draw them together.

I love my husband, my kids, my cats, reading, writing and hearing from my readers. You can contact me at pk.corey@yahoo.com

Calling all Christmas lovers!

             L… O… N… G          P…O…S…T             T…O…D…A…Y

I have some news! I am part of a wonderfully talented group and have been kindly invited to join them on this Love, Christmas 2 Collection.

But before I venture further into that, I wanted to talk about changes in my world. So, its August, the month where U.S. children return to school. Remember we have 11 children (long, complicated story. OF COURSE, I’m writing a book about it but not in this arena. I’ll keep you updated as there are updates.)

But, for now, lets focus on the new upcoming events. I have the first book of Cian and Molly’s story done and the remaining two of the trilogy outlined. WHEW! I’m excited to finish them and that is the only WIPS I am working on as I promised to have it earlier in the summer and things…LIFE… got in the way.

Anyway, we are homeschooling again this year but adding our 8th grader (our youngest. Her brother will graduate in November with plans to go to college in January.) Hope the heat moderates for us ALL!

Christmas Movie (Box Collection) Contest

Calling all Christmas lovers!

Do you love movies of the holiday season? If so, the Authors’ Billboard needs your attention! This coming 2018 Christmas, our authors—New York Times and USA Today Bestsellers—will be putting together a multi-author box collection of brand new, never before published stories to dazzle everyone, but we require your participation.

The title of our collection will be LOVE, CHRISTMAS 2 and the theme of this bundle will be Christmas movies. We want to use YOUR favorite holiday movies as the titles for our books. If you and your movie title are chosen, one of the novellas will be dedicated to YOU. The author will contact you for your name or the name you’d like her to use in the dedication.

Sound like fun? Please enter the contest by naming your special movie in the contest entry form.

You may enter as many times as you like. So what are you waiting for?

Here’s what the winners will receive:

Twenty-three winners will have his/her favorite movie chosen as the title and possibly the theme for one of the novellas.
That particular story will be dedicated to the winner.
And the winners will receive a free copy of the box set (eBook only).

Ho, ho, ho! And good luck!

Updates, a Contest, Recommendations

Hello all!

I’ve been busy this summer, how about you? I went to Blushing Books workshops in May then RT18-Reno, NV in May, Deadwood, SD in June, road-tripping in July, and East Texas Book Bash last weekend. WHEW!

I am finding how different retirement is when you don’t have most of your children and grandchildren around. This is only the third time in almost 30 years that I have spent the whole summer south of Alaska and let me tell you it has been a learning experience.

I’ll share a few things:

Lesson 1: It is HOT! I might repeat this one, because it is important. It is HELLACIOUSLY HOT! (adverb important here!)

Lesson 2: There are no grandchildren. On a day I want to be quiet and work hard, that is acceptable. But on the days you’re being lazy or your husband is bothering you while you are trying to work…or you have lots of leftovers… not so much.

Lesson 3: You can say, “Let’s go for a drive,” and leave in ten minutes for a day trip, seeing new sights while driving the highways. Not easy on an Island.

Lesson 4: If someone asks for a “coke” you must ask “what kind”.

Lesson 5: Summer rainstorms involve lightning and thunder but not gale force winds.

Lesson 6: It still gets dark in the south during summer- but it is still HOT!

Lesson 7: You are going to miss Alaska’s mountains, oceans, and your family but you will love the wide open spaces and things to do in Texas. So spend part of the year in Texas and part in Alaska. Best of both worlds. That’s us next year!

But when it is too hot in the South or too rainy in S.E. Alaska, there are always BOOKS! I have some recommendations below and a special contest.

Here is a book you should pre-order… for Fall and Winter reading.   I was honored to be invited to join the group. The heat levels go from Mild to Spicy… something for everyone! AND there is a Contest!

Sprinkle a little Christmas magic into your life with 25 ALL-NEW, never before released romances. It’s .99cents!
