Meet an Author Monday ~ Skye Jordan

Welcome to Meet an Author Monday!

I was introduced to Skye Jordan through another amazing friend of mine,Marina Adair.
Skye is one of those amazing generous souls that you can't wait to see again when it's time to say goodbye.

So...without further ado...I'm happy to introduce YOU to

Skye Jordan!

"I am a New York Times Bestselling Author writing under the pseudonym Skye Jordan for my more … sexually heated … works.
My Skye Jordan novels are all about enjoying that little wild streak we all have, but probably don’t let out often enough. About those fantasies we usually don’t get the opportunity to indulge. About stretching limits, checking out the dark side, playing naughty and maybe even acting a little wicked. They’re about escape and fun and pleasure and romance.
And, yes, even love. Because even as Skye Jordan I’m just a happily ever after kinda gal. (Or, in some cases, happily for the foreseeable future.)
Thanks for reading!"

Meet an Author Monday ~ Megan Mitcham

Welcome to Meet an Author Monday!!

Have you ever met someone who was both kick-ass and oh so classy at the same time? Well that is what happened to me this year at RT in Vegas. I had the pleasure of meeting a new friend, Megan Mitcham! It was insta-love for me! LOL!

I am thrilled to introduce you to a talented author the you'll never forget.
Megan was born and raised among the live oaks and shrimp boats of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where her enormous family still calls home. She attended college at the University of Southern Mississippi where she received a bachelor's degree in curriculum, instruction, and special education. For several years Megan worked as a teacher in Mississippi. She married and moved to South Carolina and began working for an international non-profit organization as an instructor and co-director.
In 2009 Megan fell in love with books. Until then, books had been a source for research or the topic of tests. But one day she read Mercy by Julie Garwood. And Oh Mercy, she was hooked!
Megan lives in Southern Arkansas where she pens heart pounding romantic thriller novels and window steaming erotic romance.

Meet an Author Monday ~ Kelley Harvey

Welcome to Meet an Author Monday!

So, there I was walking through the casino convention center hallway at RT, when this beautiful woman steps up next to me and gives me the loveliest compliment. Out of the blue. Just to be kind.

I thanked her and we get to chatting about the signing. Of course I forgot adhesive to hang my banner, so what does this new friend offer? Some of her own adhesive backed velcro. It worked perfectely. What a sweetheart!

I am thrilled to introduce you all to Kelley Harvey! If you love hot heroes and hotter romance. You'll get hooked on Harvey!

~ "My husband, Mike, and I live in North East Texas with our two teenage daughters, Alex and Karina. Having teen girls keeps us on our toes. In other words, we’re saturated in teen angst and excitement. I often feel as though I live on Teenage Drama Island and desperately need a vacation to Adult Sans Kids Resort. When they're grown and gone, I’ll be equal parts devastated and relieved *wiping sweat from brow*. On the upside, they keep me awash in oceans of inspiration.

I enjoy reading YA and NA, although on a rare occasion I get caught reading other things. Authors I love are Tahereh Mafi, Kresley Cole, Gwen Hayes, Suzanne Collins, Stephanie Meyers, and those are just a few.

Writing DEVASTATION was amazing. Gabe, Lexa, and Nathaniel have come to life for me. SECRETS I KEEP hit my like a ton of golden bricks and wouldn't let go until it was finished. Lily and Jax are as close to my soul as any two characters could be. All of them knock on the door of my heart and constantly poke their heads out the windows of my imagination. I hope you connect with them like I have." ~

Meet an Author Monday ~ Dawn Chartier

Welcome to Meet an Author Monday !

A few years back I was invited to a writing retreat in Winter Park. Little did I know that I would be making friends that would become an integral part of my writing journey. Dawn was one of those lovely women. I'm so very blessed. I am honored to introduce you all to a very talented and genuine wrtier...Dawn Chartier.

Dawn Chartier wouldn’t necessarily call herself a bayou girl, (A New Orleans lady sounds better, though it may not be true. LOL) but she does have the occasional gator park itself in her front yard. She’s not so much worried about the gators as much as she is about the snakes. (shivers)

Give Dawn anything chocolate and she’ll be your friend for life. When she isn’t fishing, golfing, writing or reading, you can find her on the beach or watching her favorite television shows such as Game of Thrones, True Blood, Supernatural, Hell on Wheels, and pretty much any home renovation show she can find.

Dawn loves writing contemporary and paranormal romance, but she loves reading everything with a HEA ending.

Malibu Betrayals, a Malibu Sights novel
Excerpt:  On sale now, only 99¢!

Gage brushed his lips against hers, absorbing her, pulling her tighter against him, releasing a rush of heat from her center through her limbs. Something akin to breathing again washed over her. She coiled her arms about his head and shifted higher in his embrace, kissing him back with all the pent-up woman she’d shoved down for so long.
He moaned low in his throat, and a surge of power tightened her grip around his neck. Yes. This is what she wanted, what she needed. Gage lifted her to the counter, and with a wide sweep of his hand, odds and ends crashed to the floor. The action, raw and hurried, called to a part of her she just realized existed. He wedged his hips between her knees, and she wrapped her legs about his waist, celebrating his lack of restraint. “God, Sam, I’ve wanted to taste you forever,” he whispered against her skin as he brushed his lips along her jaw and down her neck.
Her head fell back, and she kneaded his shoulders, lost as fingers of the most delicious fire licked up her spine and spread along her skull. She couldn’t breathe, yet he was all the air she needed. She couldn’t think, yet he filled her mind.
He found his way back to her mouth, his lips gliding in a whispered caress as his tongue slid against her own. She pressed into him, desperate to get closer, losing herself in the feeling of being desired.
Someone pounded on the door and they froze. “The rain’s stopped. Five minutes until shooting, Mr. Cutler.”
“Fuck.”
Sam swallowed, wanting to giggle, but the effort would cost too much. “You aren’t finished?”
He pulled back just enough for her to see his eyes narrow with an intensity she felt to her toes. “I’m not nearly finished.”

Meet an Author Monday ~ Elisabeth Barrett

Welcome to Meet an Author Monday!
For any of you who know me, You know I LOVE meeting new people. Well, I had the honor of meeting Elisabeth Barrett last year at RWA, then I had the distinct pleasure of having a new release party with her and our mutual friend Marina Adair.
I am constantly astounded by my good fortune in writer friends. Such generous and talented people have come into my life. heart emoticon
Raised in small-town Connecticut, Elisabeth spent most of her formative years playing the piano and reading everything she could get her hands on. In high school, she took a job at her local bookstore where she first discovered romance novels. She would stay long after closing time to squeeze in just one more chapter.
After working summers as a guest student at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, she studied biology as an undergraduate before attending law school. Elisabeth then spent nearly a decade working as a patent attorney, focusing her practice on both biotechnology litigation and prosecution. Inspired by those summers on Cape Cod, she started writing fiction . . . a habit she can’t seem to break.

Now a displaced New Englander, Elisabeth lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and spends her days teaching, editing, writing sexy contemporary romance, and enjoying time with her sometimes-bearded husband and three spirited children. She is constantly perfecting her home-work-writing juggling act, but in her free time she loves to hike open space preserves, grow orchids, bake sweet things her husband won’t eat, and sing in grand choruses.
If you’d like to learn more about Elisabeth, feel free to sign up for her newsletter, follow her blog, like her on Facebook, chat with her on Twitter, follow her on Instagram, or email her a question. Or if you just want to get to the good stuff, her Books page has details on all her current and future releases.
