The Reason Why
A divorce scandal and a child custody battle, two unlikely people meet and found a reason to love again.
With a scandalous divorce battle, multi-millionaire Kyle Elliot decided to move out of the limelight. Betrayed by the women he thought he loved, he decided to get away towards a different environment and a fake identity. Thanks to his best friend and secretary, Luke Bailey, everything was set. Kyle thought his exile would be nothing but boredom and a lot of reflection about his past. He never expected to find something that may ultimately change his life.
To Lenna Michel, Kyle was another new face in town until she knew whom he pretended to be related. In town where everyone knew anyone, it was difficult to find the right person to confide with her problem. She struggled to get out of a five-year relationship. Yet she couldn’t leave him without loosing someone precious.
Both at the peak of their worst, fate took a stand and gives them a chance to fight back. But they didn’t expect to find love with it.

The Reason Why Excerpt
As treat this Valentines Day, I shall give you a preview on my new work titled
‘The Reason Why’.
A short excerpt on the story.
“Is this why you invited me?” the words left my mouth before I stopped myself.
Lenna halted on her tracks and looked up in my direction. Her eyes hastily scanned my face before she twirled around and continued walking. “It’s one of the reasons. But mostly I thought you looked like you needed the company.”
Now it was my turn to stare at her. But her back was facing me. So I didn’t get to see what her expression looked when she said those words.
From the tone of her voice, I understood what she meant. No matter how I tried to conceal it, if you looked closed enough, I had a pitiful expression of a man who had been betrayed by someone he loved.
This story will be on Wattpad by April – if things goes as planned.
Now you know the name of the female lead, Lenna (portrayed by Alicia Vikander).
