The Reason Why Excerpt
Hello everyone!
As treat this Valentines Day, I shall give you a preview on my new work titled
‘The Reason Why’.
A short excerpt on the story.
“Is this why you invited me?” the words left my mouth before I stopped myself.
Lenna halted on her tracks and looked up in my direction. Her eyes hastily scanned my face before she twirled around and continued walking. “It’s one of the reasons. But mostly I thought you looked like you needed the company.”
Now it was my turn to stare at her. But her back was facing me. So I didn’t get to see what her expression looked when she said those words.
From the tone of her voice, I understood what she meant. No matter how I tried to conceal it, if you looked closed enough, I had a pitiful expression of a man who had been betrayed by someone he loved.
This story will be on Wattpad by April – if things goes as planned.
