I enjoyed the read. It is my goal to always take wisdom away for the express purpose of application. After finishing the article, the question I was left with was, “What do I do with what I just read?”

Throughout reading your essay I was reminded on multiple occasions of my previous Hermetic studies of The Great Work which compliment one another in abstract theory but seem to be different within the context used. Both are creative in nature.

I feel your quote: “The Work is scary because it’s done in public which mean someone might (will) notice.” I am working to “ship” more and it IS scary. When I exercise, sometimes just getting out the door is the victory, and the rest is easy… I imagine the same is true some days with The Work and I appreciated the suggestion of setting a regular deadline to hold yourself to.
