Ormsbani
For those who have not already heard, I am hard at work on the 2nd Midhgardhur Fantasy novel, to be titled "Ormsbani," a fantasy re-telling of the myth of Sigurd the Dragonslayer from the Old Norse Saga of the Volsungs (among other Norse sagas - and known as Sigfried the Dragon Slayer in the German myths). At the moment, I am treating my work on "Ormsbani" as a NaNoWriMo challenge!
First Word Count Wednesday for NaNoWriMo!
Word Count Wednesday: 50,082 overall, and counting!
NaNoWriMo official count: 14,046 and counting!
I'm so thrilled at how things are going!

After NaNoWriMo, Channillo!
Hello everyone,
"Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood and carry water."
Well, NaNoWriMo is officially over, and Ormsbani is finished in first draft and is in the first serious round of editing. Lots of work to do yet, but I'm pretty excited by this one! I'm estimating about 6 months before it is truly ready for publication. And I already have some ideas for the next one.
Meanwhile, my series Tales From Midhgardhur has started on Channillo with "Dark Valkyrie," a tale of Queen Gydha (from The Saga of Asa Oathkeeper). I'm working now on the 2nd installment, "Hrafn's Ninth Night," a tale of Hrafn Herulason from the same book!
Cheers!
