After NaNoWriMo, Channillo!
Hello everyone,
"Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood and carry water."
Well, NaNoWriMo is officially over, and Ormsbani is finished in first draft and is in the first serious round of editing. Lots of work to do yet, but I'm pretty excited by this one! I'm estimating about 6 months before it is truly ready for publication. And I already have some ideas for the next one.
Meanwhile, my series Tales From Midhgardhur has started on Channillo with "Dark Valkyrie," a tale of Queen Gydha (from The Saga of Asa Oathkeeper). I'm working now on the 2nd installment, "Hrafn's Ninth Night," a tale of Hrafn Herulason from the same book!
Cheers!

Starting a Midhgardhur Wiki, Channillo, and New Cover Art!
Hello everyone,
I am excited to announce that I have begun constructing a Midhgardhur Wiki for fans of my books and stories who want to know more about the Norse fantasy world of Midhgardhur. It is going to take a lot of time and work before it really has enough content for me to begin promoting it, but I thought I would let the fans know that it is on the way!
I had to sit for over an hour in a waiting room today while my son was at an appointment, so I used the time to sketch out the wiki and to make sketches of plots for Channillo stories in the upcoming year. For anyone who hasn't seen Tales From Midhgardhur yet, it's my monthly series of short stories set in Midhgardhur published on Channillo. I'm pretty excited about it; please check it out!
Also of possible interest: I got some feedback on the terrible cover art for "The Saga of Asa Oathkeeper" (well, it was not truly *terrible*, but it was my first attempt at cover art and not very professional). So I created an alternate cover that matches the design used for "Tales From Midhgardhur" and the upcoming Ormsbani. I liked it, so I uploaded it to Amazon. I'm not sure how long it will take to fully replace the old cover, but I'm working on it!
Happy Reading! Skál!

Working on the next Channillo story: "Courtship"
Hello everyone!
I just thought I would mention that I have begun work on my February story for my Channillo series, Tales From Midhgardhur, to be entitled "Courtship." February seems the time for a love story of sorts, so this will be a tale of the courtship of Gydha by King Haraldur (you may already be familiar with these characters from The Saga of Asa Oathkeeper and the Channillo story "Dark Valkyrie" . . . if not, you should read up on them!). If all goes as planned, you should be able to read "Courtship" HERE on Monday, February 1st, 2016!

Also, a reminder that I'm going to be featured on The Thursday Interview tomorrow, Thursday the 7th, 2016! You will be able to read it HERE. Please check it out and spread the word!

Working on my next Channillo project, "The Harp of the Sisters", a bit of a horror story that puts a new, Midhgardhur twist on a very old tale. Word Count Wednesday: 1879. Should be out by the Ides of March!
