Slow and Steady…

I just wanted to remind everyone who enjoys writing, whether it be casually or professionally, to never give up. If it is a passion of yours, then let that fire continue to burn! It is a way for us to inspire ourselves and the world. When I first started The Phoenix Gate, it took several years to complete the first draft… a process, I’m told, that will retool itself as I continue writing other projects. I personally know people who have lost their work altogether… people who’ve always been interested in publishing but never committed or even know where to begin. To those people, and everyone else in similar shoes, I say pursue it… and let that fire burn. There’s nothing to stop you from asking questions or advice. Take it all and wield it until you get your work out there, and allow us all the privilege of enjoying your work!!

I have other projects in the work, my second of which began in 2011… that first draft still isn’t complete yet, but it’s well on the way. It may take some time to get your whole idea down, but in the end it’s beyond worth it! It’s worth it when you can impact people all over the world, and possibly leave behind a legacy much greater than you ever thought you would. Hoo-rah and God bless!!

RANKED #209!!!!

It may seem like a small victory, but actually IT’S RATHER HUGE!!!! The Phoenix Gate is currently ranked at # 209 on the “Cant Wait Sci-Fi/Fantasy 2015″ book list over at Goodreads!!! Hoo-rah! Remember this is a “Can’t Wait…” book list, which means everyone can cast a vote whether you’ve started reading it or not… lol, if you’re interested of course :-)  If you haven’t done so already, please take a few minutes to head over to the list:

… and vote for it :-)  It’ll be amazing watching it continue to climb the ranks, and at the same time gain exposure!! Free free to spread the word; and now if you have questions about the novel, you can post them at Goodreads and I’ll do what I can to answer them in a timely manor… sparing any spoilers of course. Hoo-rah and God bless!!

Reviews & Ratings

If you’re one of the amazing people who’ve already picked up a copy of The Phoenix Gate, I don’t even know what to say… but I’ll start with a big Thank You!!!! I know it’s highly unlikely, but I sincerely hope that everyone enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it and developing it throughout the years :-)  But this post is about another integral part of the publishing process… Reviews & Ratings.

If you’ve already started the journey of reading it, please feel free to post comments here on your thoughts so far. I look forward to hearing EVERYTHING, lol. After you’ve finished the read, or if you’re already finished, please head over to AMAZON, BARNES & NOBLE, or GOODREADS (heck, all 3 if you’re feeling hairy) to write a review and rate the book. I’m definitely looking forward to what people have to say, honest opinions and all :-)  As my writing style continues to evolve, it would be great to get some feedback, but also equally important for my available work to be rated and reviewed.

I hope that everyone’s had a blessed week, and as we roll into the weekend, it’s equally blessed. Take care and hoo-rah!!!

Expanding Availability

In the wake of getting The Phoenix Gate published, I’m happy to announce that the Kindle edition is nearly here!! The links to both Amazon and Barnes & Noble will be posted below, but the really important part… is the reviews :-)  If you’ve already purchased a copy and have managed to muscle your way through it, please return to either Amazon or Barnes & Noble to write a review. Reviews are an equally important part in the publishing journey, but it would also be fantastic to hear what y’all have to say :-D

I sincerely appreciate all the love and support I’ve received while on this journey, and I certainly more than look forward to hearing what everyone has to say, about my first novel. God bless and hoo-rah!!
