TTOD update…
Continuing the never-ending journey of the publishing process… I’m happy to announce that the first of the edits have come back!! YAY… I think :) It’s time to buckle down and get those dang edits implemented! At the same time, I’ve been told I have something really special here… special to the point that I should actually submit it the Legion and see what THEY have to say about it :) WHO KNEW!!
I’m actually quite excited to be able to burn through one of the edits, taking yet another step closer to getting The Twelfth of December out there and into your hands!! Not only that, but the exceptionally talented Angela Fristoe, who was the creative talent behind the variant cover of The Phoenix Gate, and I, are so very close to finalizing the cover for TTOD. Once again her work shines like none other, and throughout this process she has created something that very well captures… well… between the synopsis and the cover… you’ll just have to see for yourself :)
I’m just happy that progress is being made, the project continues the journey forward, and in the end it’s all coming together. Hoo-rah, God bless, and I hope Y’ALL have an amazing and wonderful thanksgiving!!

New Benchmark… 300+
As work on TTOD continues moving forward, I’m proud to announce that as of TODAY… the page count has surpassed 300!!! I can’t imagine how long this novel will be in the end. All I know is it will keep going until it feels appropriate… maybe one more page or two, lol!!
It’s been an amazing roller coaster ride so far, and I’ve loved every step!! I remember the initial stages of it all, bouncing ideas around… cause you know, I can’t be the only one who thinks something is cool… there needs to be “feedback”[image error] Anyhoo, the very talented Tammy Ung-Brown is still onboard to create the cover, of which I’m still super excited. And when it’s all said and done, The Twelfth of December will first be available via the Kindle store. Hoo-rah, and I’ll see you between the pages.

Ellen’s Libary…
It swells my chest with a huge wave of silent pride when I see my novel in someone’s collection. What an amazing feeling it is, to know the amount of work I’ve sunk into making The Phoenix Gate a reality, and then to see it there… in a collection!! Just… wow! I can only imagine what it’ll feel like when I finish TTOD and see that sitting on people’s shelves, beside The Phoenix Gate!! Woot Woot!
I invite everyone who has a library of their own, no matter how big or small, to snap a photo of The Phoenix Gate sitting in their collection.
