Readers of this blog, if you’ve read any of my books please consider posting  positive reviews on Amazon or Goodreads for them. Why?

Because writing and posting reviews does miraculous work by helping out with boosting my visibility in the Cave of Obscurity (Amazon, Goodreads, the whole darn, bloody Internet). Reviews do indeed take a few mome...

Quotes to Write By

The end of the school year is almost here and my middle school students are becoming . . . unhinged. Heh.

Oh, the talking. And the forgetting. And the out-of-the-seat moments.

Me: But you’re writing the first draft of your essay. Do you really need to walk around?

So, this week to keep learning at maximum levels students must complete a four paragraph essay on two people’s reactions to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Students have the option to choose from any of the important people w...

Your Novel Ain’t Perfect. Let It Go.

This author quotes one of Dali’s wise truths: “Don’t be afraid of perfection, you will never reach it.”

10 Writing Memes That Spoke to Me

The Long and Short Stories of Life

Yes, Idris Elba, I should. And I will as soon as I’m done mooning over you. Maybe I’ll make you the hero in my next book and then I can stare at this pic and think of you ALL the time!

Memes are silly, funny, and inspiring. I spent a good part of Easter Sunday evening surfing the net, looking for ideas on my designated day off, and I stumbled upon these memes about writing and writers. I began to talk back to them and I decided to share my conversations wit...

How Being Patient Improved My Writing

Patience.

A Writer's Path

by Millie Ho
