Yeah, I think Medium pretty much started trying to kill off creative writers about three months into the original MPP roll out. Before that they seemed to actually give a shot about the quality of the writing.

Her ass in this case. I laughed when I read about it because she is the same person who, when I first joined Medium in 2017, before the MPP, gushed over two short stories I wrote and gave me two free months on my Medium subscription.
I don't think Medium is actively out to get those of us that write Short From, poetry, fiction…
I don't think Medium is actively out to get those of us that write Short From, poetry, fiction, ect, but they do ignore us for sure.
The VP of Medium in an email a few months ago essentially said, "Why would anyone read fiction? You can't learn anything from it."
But I hope they can figure out what the issue is and fix it. It is really weird to get people clapping for your work while your stats show 0 reads, 0 views. lol
