A Lady's Submission
A Lady's Submission, (The Warriors of Ar'mora, Book One), by Frank Carlyle Blurb: Last of a clan that once ruled over a vast trade network and determined the fate of empires, Mahlon Arn, has the task of reclaiming a place once lost and now hidden within the jungled corridors of a tributary river that feeds into the mighty Amazon River. The Lady in the Van
The Woman in the Van, by Alan Bennett Blurb: Life imitates art in The Lady in the Van, the story of the itinerant Miss Shepherd, who lived in a van in Alan Bennett's driveway from the early 1970s until her death in 1989. It is doubtful that Bennett could have made up the eccentric Miss Shepherd if he tried, but his poignant, funny but unsentimental account of their strange relationship is akin to his best fictional screen writing. Bennett concedes that "One seldom was able to do her a good

Jersey Boys
Yesterday I went up to London with my parents, since my mum and I clubbed together to get my dad Jersey Boys tickets for his birthday. We had a great day up in London; we got to browse around Regent Street, before the show, which was at the Piccadilly Theatre. But the height-light of the day really was the show. It was absolutely amazing! I loved it! I'm a big fan of music and I love all the old-school music, though I've never really been a big fan of Frankie Valli - his voice is too high for

World Book Day!
Today is World Book Day! A whole day dedicated to books! Here are my Top Ten... it was a close call though, there are so many great books out there! 1) A Hunger Like No Other, by Kresley Cole - I could, and have, read this book over and over again. It was one of the first Adult Paranormal books I ever read and it got me hooked on the Immortals After Dark Series as well as the genre. 2) Kiss of Snow, by Nalini Singh - I've yet to find a book by this author that I don't love and her

Cadbury World
So, today a friend and I drove all the way to Birmingham, or at least near there, to visit Cadbury World! Ok, so I was so, so excited about this - seriously it's chocolate, who wouldn't be excited? But to be honest, it wasn't as good as I thought it'd be. Don't get me wrong, it was a really fun day out and if you're near there definately go, but after driving for over two hours it was a bit of a let down. Surprisingly, despite what the name suggests, I didn't really think the place was geared

After
After, by Samantha Gregory Blurb: The dead walked. The world fell apart. But what happened after? Jenna Deluise is just trying to survive in this broken world, but after her father's apparent suicide she discovers that she didn't really know him at all. How was he connected to the zombies? Why is his former boss so sure he is alive? What else was he hiding? I loved this book! The main character Jenna was great, unlike so many characters she doesn't start out strong but rather

10 Conversations
10 Conversations, by Kevin D. Rolle Blurb: Romance novel for teens that focuses on two college students played out through ten conversations they have over the phone. This contemporary fiction love story involves Brad, the captain of the college football team, and his smart, beautiful - but reserved - tutor Trisha (who holds secrets of her own.) Things start of well enough, but 'making the grade' is NOT what Brad really wants. It's romance. And this becomes abundantly clear as the
