Not gona
lie I started playing Genshin Impack just to explore pretty lands and fight
cute slimes and I dead ass ignored 99% of the plot before Liyue story ark. The
only quest where I didn’t skip through all of the dialogues was Xiangling quest
because it was so cute and all about food and I loved it with all my heart.

Mistakes
were made and I have regrets. GOD DAMMIT videogame why do you have to be so
much more than silly cute gacha I feel betrayed and happy to be betrayed like
that.

Anyway, I wanted
to say that I just realized that Tsaritsa is a Goddes of Love. The Snow Queen vibe
is unbearable, my poor little heart can’t handle it.

Now excuse me I need to lie down and listen to really beautiful and sad Russian music while crying uncontrollably, thank you.

Her lesson

I imagine that all of
this is very hard for Rex Lapis, who quite literally is an embodiment of stone.

I can
imagine that after all this (letting Guizhong go and giving away his gnosis) Zhongli
is finally able to unlock  «Memory of
dust». Maybe it even unlocks by itself - all magical seals that held it secrets just
disappear.

But
when Zhongli touches the dumbbell, it crumbles to
dust. Empty.

归 (gui) is return while 终 (zhong) means end. (incidentally also the same intonation of zhongli’s zhong and i’m combusting)

so guizhong is literally something like ‘return to the end’ but imo i think it’s more the idea of returning to where you began (which is also your end) - goddess of dust, and we all literally return to dust before being built up again in the land of the geo archon or something.

I have a lot of issues with Genshin art direction, but the thing that upsets me the most rn is a Fatui fraction design in general and Childe’s clothing in particular. I understand where this whole grey, black and red color scheme and edgy shapes are coming from but man it’s just so friking boring.
I wish MiHoYo could move from “dull Soviet Union style with ushanka hats and some edge cuz they are Evil” to “funky slavic fairy tales” style. I know they won’t but a woman can dream.

It’s so sad that we are missing all this good rich slavic craziness here.
