Sonnet of Occupation
With just weeks of lockdown,
You all feel restless and bland.
That is how everyday life is,
For people in occupied land.
Imagine living your whole life,
Subject to restriction and suspicion.
Ask a Palestinian or a Kashmiri,
They'll reveal the face of occupation.
Life, liberty and happiness,
Are the rights of every being.
Whenever a government violates them,
Civilized humanity must intervene.
I call to all humans far and near,
Rest not till statehood is declared.
You all feel restless and bland.
That is how everyday life is,
For people in occupied land.
Imagine living your whole life,
Subject to restriction and suspicion.
Ask a Palestinian or a Kashmiri,
They'll reveal the face of occupation.
Life, liberty and happiness,
Are the rights of every being.
Whenever a government violates them,
Civilized humanity must intervene.
I call to all humans far and near,
Rest not till statehood is declared.

The Sufi Sonnet
For your ascension I became a lover,
For your rights I became a revolution.
Ask me not who I am,
Look in my eyes, you'll find your reflection.
Our world is a new world,
The soul of this world is conscience.
Without conscience we all are animals,
March ahead o conscientious with valiance.
There is no other religion but love,
There is no other nationality but humanity.
The story of human is a story of kindness,
If not, life is but an utter futility.
We are all heroes when we are together,
Togetherness forever whether alive or six feet under.

The Vaccine Sonnet
Listen to the experts,
Listen to Fauci.
Grow up you big sissy,
Enough with the ouchie!
I got the vaccine,
Trust me it's safe.
Every scientist will confirm,
Listen to reason not hearsay.
Vaccines produce immunity,
Masks prevent the spread.
If you follow some simple steps,
You'll prevent someone's death.
Freedom without reason is savagery.
During pandemic accountability is key.
Listen to Fauci.
Grow up you big sissy,
Enough with the ouchie!
I got the vaccine,
Trust me it's safe.
Every scientist will confirm,
Listen to reason not hearsay.

Shades of Brown (The Sonnet)
There is no white skin,
There is no black skin.
All of us are shades of brown,
If we can reason without stereotyping.
Climate makes the difference in color,
But not in character of the individual.
Human character knows no geography,
For a being of character is human above all.
The idea of race is a myth most foul,
Born of ignorance and narrowness.
Now we live in a different time,
That requires abolition of divisiveness.
Discard those traditions and live as sapient.
Let's build a world where color ain't relevant.
There is no black skin.
All of us are shades of brown,
If we can reason without stereotyping.
Climate makes the difference in color,
But not in character of the individual.
Human character knows no geography,
For a being of character is human above all.

Books Over Bombs (The Sonnet)
Bombs kill terrorists,
Books kill terrorism.
Missiles kill extremists,
Mindfulness kills extremism.
Guns kill supremacists,
Goodness kills supremacy.
Law restrains cruel people,
Love reforms cruelty.
Sarin cripples the malicious,
Service cures malice.
C4 impairs the prejudiced,
Curiosity treats prejudice.
Violence can be revolution no more.
For all degradation kindness is the cure.
Books kill terrorism.
Missiles kill extremists,
Mindfulness kills extremism.
Guns kill supremacists,
Goodness kills supremacy.
Law restrains cruel people,
Love reforms cruelty.
Sarin cripples the malicious,

The Temper Sonnet
Where you need to be calm,
You burst out in rage.
Where you need to be on fire,
You walk in silence and not engage.
Where you need to listen,
You scream like a loudspeaker.
Where you need to speak out,
Somehow your words disappear.
Where it requires to be humble,
Pride takes over your humility.
Where your blood needs to boil,
Your veins seem to run empty.
The right use of temper is an act of revolution.
Put it to good use and you'll nourish civilization.
You burst out in rage.
Where you need to be on fire,
You walk in silence and not engage.
Where you need to listen,
You scream like a loudspeaker.
Where you need to speak out,
Somehow your words disappear.
Where it requires to be humble,
Pride takes over your humility.
Where your blood needs to boil,
Your veins seem to run empty.
The right use of temper is an act of revolution.
Put it to good use and you'll nourish civilization.

MCA: Middle Class Activist (The Sonnet)
I don't know the meaning of socialism,
But progress without society is insanity.
I don't know the meaning of capitalism,
But catering to luxury produces disparity.
I don't know the meaning of woke,
But no life is complete without community.
I don't know the meaning of philosophy,
But intellect is useless without amity.
I don't own many fancy gadgets,
Affording essentials I stand without greed.
I'll probably never set foot on MARS,
On earth I'll be serving the abandoned in need.
High and mighty tech won't make this world better,
Till we place humanity at our highest altar.
But progress without society is insanity.
I don't know the meaning of capitalism,
But catering to luxury produces disparity.
I don't know the meaning of woke,
But no life is complete without community.
I don't know the meaning of philosophy,
But intellect is useless without amity.
I don't own many fancy gadgets,
Affording essentials I stand without greed.
I'll probably never set foot on MARS,
On earth I'll be serving the abandoned in need.

Adopt A Neighborhood (The Sonnet)
Adopt a neighborhood,
Make their problems your own.
This is the only road to life,
Society’s hope is you alone.
Charity, security and world peace,
All these are cosmetic theory.
When you learn to live as human,
You'll see their actual foolery.
When our voices combine,
All noise turns melody of heavens.
Joy is amplified a hundred times,
We lose sense of all our burdens.
Diversity and progress will come alright,
Once you perceive beyond your selfish sight.
Make their problems your own.
This is the only road to life,
Society’s hope is you alone.
Charity, security and world peace,
All these are cosmetic theory.
When you learn to live as human,
You'll see their actual foolery.
When our voices combine,

The British Sonnet
Rule Britannia,
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never,
Shall be slaves.
Around the world we looted,
We even championed slavery.
But none of it really matters,
Consequences don't apply to royalty.
Hitler massacred so many people,
Which is petty compared to our atrocities.
Perhaps that's why Britain is so great,
None can compete with our killing spree.
It's time to civilize this backward Britannia,
By righting the wrongs of British Barbariana.
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never,
Shall be slaves.
Around the world we looted,
We even championed slavery.
