Meet the Author: Christine Jayne Vann!

Today's author has a vibrant mix of talents and hobbies. She loves animals and the outdoors, and is also a busy mom who runs her own website. Somewhere in there, she still finds the time to write great novels and short stories full of diverse and engaging characters. There is likely to be something for everyone from this skilled writer, so please welcome Christine Jayne Vann! Tell us a little about yourself. What made you choose to be a writer and who are you when you aren't writing? I’ve always

Meet the Author: Andy Peloquin!

Today's author could be seen as a clash of multiple contradictions all rolled into one person. But it seems to have worked in his favor, producing someone with a magnetic personality and a real talent for writing stories that readers love.  I admire his drive and his ability to make sure that he takes time for his art every day. There is a lesson in that for everyone who wants to succeed at something they love to do. I hope you enjoy getting to know him as much as I did: meet Andy Peloquin!

Meet the Author: Jamie Campbell

It must be something about the mystery, but I love when an author not only uses a pseoudonym, but when they extend that secrecy to include keeping almost everything about themselves hidden from the public. It adds to the intrigue of the person, and in my case, makes you want to delve deep into their writing so you can look for clues about who this person truly may be.   Jamie Campbell is one of those authors. Not only is there mystique about her, but as you can tell from her answers below, she

Meet the Author: L E Fitzpatrick!

Today's author is a lifelong writer and is also a fantastic editor. She is our second featured author to have her work re-published through Booktrope, an amazing publishing platform that brings Indie authors together with editors, cover artists, and a marketing team to achieve the common goal of making a book succesful.    She is a key member of the Awethors group, and was a huge part of making their anthologies a success. It's easy to say that she is very beloved in the Indie community, and

Meet the Author: Cynthia Ruby!

If you love poetry, especially honest poetry with a bit of an edge and a dose of reality, then I think you'll be excited to learn more about today's featured author.   Cythia Ruby is one of those writers that most people can relate to: she works hard to provide for her family while still trying to find the time to live her dreams and honor her art. Her book of poetry has been nominated for Metamorph Publishing's 2016 Indie Book award, and I get the feeling that this is just the beginning of

Meet the Author: Chrissy Moon!

*Today's interview is one of the first with a slightly new format than what I have done before. Previously, all of the interview questions for the authors were the same. This worked out great for awhile, but as I have done more features, I have realized that all of these people are so unique that it wasn't fair to hand them out cookie cutter interviews and expect that you really get to know them well. So starting now, the author's have a lot more freedom over the questions they answer and

Meet the Author: Valarie Savage Kinney!

I have to tell you, I love getting to interact with all kinds of writers from different backgrounds. I especially love when I find someone who writes in a way I've never seen before or tackles subject matter that most choose not to. It's something that I try to do in my own writing, so it's a real treat when I find it in someone else.   Valarie Kinney is just such an author. I decided within a few minutes of reading this interview that I had to add one of her books to my long list of many to be

Today's author is a very dynamic writer with a bubbly personality, and is someone who is incredibly active in the Indie community. Please join me in getting to know Karen J. Mossman! Tell us a little about yourself. What made you choose to be a writer and who are you when you aren't

Meet the Author: Tom Fallwell!

Todays featured author is one I'm sure you will love. He is intelligent, strong in his personal convictions, and one of those people who is always willing to offer advice and encouragement. I have had the chance to read excerpts of his writing from time to time, and he is a skilled and dynamic author who loves writing adventure and fantasy. I don't know him as well as some of the authors I have had the pleasure of working with, so I found his answers to my questions not only warm and

Meet the Author: Kathleen Rovner!

One of the things I have loved most about featuring other authors on my blog is the oppurtunity to get to know some of them better. The Indie community is HUGE, especially when you consider that the author's I connect with come from all over the globe. I always love seeing how they answer the questions and enjoy the personal insight they give into their lives.      Due to the fact that she prefers her writing to remain a secret, oday's author is normally very mysterious: I don't even know
