My books are geared toward upper elementary and middle school but are enjoyed by a wide range of readers.

I live in Wisconsin and enjoy weightlifting, hiking, reading, and spending time with my family and my cat.

I offer interactive school visits where kids have fun re-enacting Ice Age creatures. We also cover the writing and publishing process.

4 1/2 stars. Despite a confusing beginning where so many people were introduced, this was a very readable and relatable narrative of the trail itself, as well as the personal joys and struggles of the hikers.

3 1/2 stars Interesting glimpse into the development of Florida in the 1800s and 1900s. Likable narrative but a bit too long. I also felt character development and dialogue could have been stronger.
