for Dallas and for others
For men and women
In uniform and not in uniform
No one deserves to die
& not in the way they are dying today

I wonder
if there were no guns
would the violence stop
probably not
people will take out their knifes
to settle scores

I pray
that men and women calm down
and take direction from their soul
