KSAX: Greater Minnesota Business Owner Hopeful $30 Billion Small Business Bill Will Help Ease Financial Strain
ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – Senate passed a $30 billion Small Business Bill, and the area's local businesses are hoping it has a positive affect on greater Minnesota.
"This is meant to get out to Alexandria and greater Minnesota," Senator Al Franken said about the bill. "It's $8 billion in tax incentives for small businesses to hire new folks and also about $30 billion in loans for small businesses."

WXOW: Austin, MN receives flood grant
(Washington, DC) – Today, Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken (D-Minn.), along with Congressman Tim Walz (D-Minn.) announced that the City of Austin, Minnesota will receive a $5 million grant for flood mitigation from the Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration (EDA).

Faribault County Register: $2.3M for BE airport
