Man, these clouds over the mountains this morning… and suddenly it is spring.

Today I’m finishing up the page proofs on Call Down the Hawk, which is the last stage of proof reading before it goes off to the printers (and before it gets ready to be turned into an audiobook). It feels really right to finish it today, right before Easter, when everything is supposed to be starting over as something new and unfamiliar and vibrant. Because of my health, it has been literally years since I had a new book out and it feels like this personal winter is finally over.
